So I (www.facebook.com/davejsy?ref=p… ) live in Jersey (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey ) which is a small island off the French coast, but is actually part of the UK. I'm into surfing, football, horse riding, swimming, reading, playing guitar and generally anything that involves been outside, oh and of course photography. I have the best dog (davejsy.deviantart.com/art/Sno… ) in the world, and two of the worst horses (davejsy.deviantart.com/art/The… ) which just seem to want to eat me! I notice you’re from Jersey. Never been there but I visited England and France
years ago and was on a ferry in the English Channel so, I was in the area.
I've found that a lot of people here in the U.S. don't know much their own
country, much less anyone else's. 
I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise awareness about what's going on in the rest of the world.
Recently I’ve started a personal initiative; if I notice someone on DA is from
another country, if I've done their country I let them know. It’s my way of letting them know
that others are thinking about their home.

Haha, I think it was mighty close though, I must say your cow was a fantastic effort, and I did have a bit of an advantage with my cow pool from which to select! Funnily enough when I mentioned to the judge about there being a cash prize he didn't seem to know anything about it!!

Our county is under a flood advisory. The rivers are very swollen.
I live up on a ridge though, so I'm good.
The tornado and such generally don't come to our cooler climate until summer is in full swing, June, July and August.

I'm glad you are impressed. I fear the same thing...snow snow snow...rain rain rain. It is not looking good for me. The judge will be a random person on DA that we will ask to judge all the photos and tell us the winner. Jessica will just click random deviant and ask. Is that fair enough for you?
