All is well so far, thank you. I'm still alive and I'm finished with my education so I'm a licensed teacher now! Looking for work atm though... going to an interview on Monday! Wish me luck! I haven't had as much time as I'd like for painting and stuff though. But I'll try to get started with that again soon too. How are you? All's well with you too?

Mostly it was work that kept me from my art... luckily my job allows me to be pretty creative (within the confines of software development). Recently I've rediscovered lots of passion for art, and have started a few projects that help relax me before sleeping every night.

Grats for finishing up University! My partner is a teacher here in Toronto - what a fabulous and rewarding job. Hats off to you - it's such an important role. Good luck on your interview - I'm sure you'll do well!

Yeah, that's my problem now. When i'm working I cannot be as creative as I'd like to be. But if I get this teacher job I can have the summers off and spend a lot of time creating stuff! That's great to hear! I always liked your art so it'd be sad if you'd stopped! Hehe, I usualöly spend the evenings playing Borderlands atm. I love that game. But I'm beginning to get a little fed up with it now... played it through almost three times now. I'm gonna sit and sew on a other plush dragon today though. It'll be nice. It's almost finished! What are your new projects then?

I just got an XBOX 360 with Kinnect (Rocky loves the dance games) so I've been getting more into games latel. You recommend Borderlands? I just finished an XBOX Live game called Faery, which was pretty fun.

My other main project is a sci-fi graphic novel written by a friend of mine. We have about 25 pages done of the first Part. I'll start posting those as soon as we've finished Part 1 (likely about 30 pages).

Nice! I'm not too much for playing on consoles, but they do have some fun games. Generally I much prefer the PC games though. Cheaper and with often better controls, like the free look around movement you get from the mouse. Yes, I recommend Borderlands! Very fun game!
Live game? Like, you play online against other people or?

Plush dragon is done! Yay! Working on a sculpture and some small drawings now.

Hey, I got the teacher job and it's been going well. I can handle the class and it's more orderly than it used to be apparently.

I have recently (in the last year - geez do I still consider that "recent?") changed from Windows to Mac. I can't say I miss all of the quirks of Windows, but I DO miss the games. Everything from old classics (like Age of Empires) to the latest and greatest... just aren't available on modern Macs. Sorta too bad because otherwise I'm happier with OS X.

I've played a number of pretty fun games on the XBOX. I think Borderlands will be my next, cuz YikYik said so!

Actually by "Live" I just meant that I bought the game via "XBox Live" - I rarely buy disc's just cuz I'm rarely at a game store. It's a lot easier to just buy downloadable games via the XBox Live Market. That was where I got that Faery game (wow that was a long time ago - have I been offline that long?)

Glad teaching's going well for you! That's awesome... I have much respect for teachers. Such a noble profession.

Yep we have a graphic novel (well, part 1 of a long series I think) - it's all done but I'm waiting for the author to get his US Tax number so he can post it online for sale... then I'm planning to give away a bunch of it on dA and other sites. Hopefully you'll like it - it's sorta future sci-fi, and different from most of my other stuff. I like it.

Hmm, why don't you use ... umm... darn, I forgot the name of the thing now. A program that can run on PC's that doesn't have the quirks of Windows, but can play all their games and stuff. More or less. I'd go crazy with no games!!!

*lol* Borderlands was so much fun! Played it through three times. I don't usually do that. Hmm... Singularity is new cool horror game. I haven't gotten that far in it yet, but it seems great. Nice, fun and scary. According to my brother it's too short though. But that seems to be a problem with all new games almost. I think it's on X-box or something like that too.

Maybe you mean Boot Camp - that allows me to reboot in Windows or Mac OSX? There's also Parallels which doesn't require a reboot, but that wouldn't work well for gaming I suspect. For now I'm happy with my XBox 360!

You're a three-times Borderlandser eh? Heh heh! Ok that's next on my list then. I recently finished Darksiders and Enslaved. Both were pretty cool with great environments. Darksiders was a long game, but Enslaved was pretty short.

How is school going now? I bet the kids are hard to keep attentive, what with the holidays right around the corner!

I've posted the first few pages of my own graphic novel if you'd like to check them out. The other one is still waiting for the Author to get it on the iBook store. Geez it's taking a long time. I'm tempted to post it anyway, but it'd be a shame to lose any sales we might get because it wasn't ready to sell when interested people are reading it!

School's going pretty well. I mean, I'm stressed out because it's almost summer now. Just 6 weeks left! But the class has been a lot calmer and nicer after X-mas. That's nice. There's just sooo much work to be done before they're finished. I mean, after summer they'll go to the middle gound school and I will have either a new class, year one, or be out of work or something. I don't know yet. Anyways, it's exciting as well.

How did it go with the graphic novel? OUt for sale yet? Selling well? And of course I'm interested in reading it! Just give me time...

Hm... I'm pretty bad at keeping in touch aren't I! How are things going now YikYik? You must be in the fall term now - It trust that the end of last year went well and you had a great summer... and that this fall is looking promising! (geez has it been so long?)

I will have to check out Amnesia since dark-and-scary sounds pretty awesome. I'm a bit busy trying to start a company with a friend but I'm hoping things will settle in a month or so. Then I can play video games again!
