Huge MGS fan I made an snake airsoft kit, use tiger stripes and bandana

Thank you! Thats awesome! I often go airsofting as either Meryl or Twilight Sparkle from MLP Not been brave enough to go as my female naked snake yet. Though I reckon if I did wear my Fem NS to airsoft I would be sensible and wear at least some underarmour, protect my belly from erupting in bleeders

You just need to use a tiger bdu set and that belt rig you got, and then your pretty much dead on a sneak kit
I never had a kit that accurate, have never seen where i can buy does straps that goes around the legs.

I could use a tiger stripe shirt but I just liked the idea of keeping the top half open and more flattering as I look a bit swamped if I wear the tiger stripe shirt.

Do you mean the Knee Brace or the thing that attatches the Knife to my leg? The Knife is held on by a crepe bandage and the Leg brace is cut off of a sleeve from an old hoodie. As for the rest of the kit it was made following this guide:

He has a brilliant tutorial on how to make the Harness

I see your point, it will keep the true look of the kit.
But for use in an airsoft game I think its best to have it close for camo and some protection

No, I ment the straps that goes from the suspender and down between the legs.
Nice guide, never seen one like that. Maybe ill follow it some time.

I made a snake kit out of something like this: [link]
Just not a molle belt and no molle on the back. But i added a molle water tank to the suspenders.
Had alot of pouches and a buttpack.

Had enough to carry 9 M4 mags, water, food, snacks, ammo, radio, medkit, rain coat and other stuff.
Was enough to be out for 18hours in the field at one airsoft game

The whole harness is made with webbing and parachute clips The crotch straps are actually one piece all the way down from the shoulder

A friend of mine wore his snake to airsoft and he said that in all honesty the harness isn't very practical because of the risk of hurting yourself from hitting yourself with the parachute clips (because they are so heavy ) and the fact there isn't really enough space for a lot of kit. The rig you used looks better as it would carry a lot more molle

I've not had a chance to play a long game yet - We tend to play in urban environments so its a lot of short quick turn around games. Though we do plan to do a long game one time

crestfallen88 In reply to gaming-goddess [2012-07-07 23:49:05 +0000 UTC]

With out the clips the harness can easily slide upwards when you crawl.
But mabe swop them out something less hurt full

This is the harness i made my kit out off: [link]
Had 2 magazine pouches on the left side holding 3 mags each. And one dual mag ouch on the right side.
Sadly i dont have a pic of the harness, and iv taken it apart now.
But i worked kinda great. As i said, was out on the field for 18 houres

We only play on wood area, we wich to find an urban CQC place. but its hard to find in Norway.
Ever heard about berget events ?

gaming-goddess In reply to crestfallen88 [2012-07-08 00:04:56 +0000 UTC]

We have a nice mix of venues in England it just so happens that there is a urban site very close to my friends house so we play there a lot. There is a woodland one near where I used to live but they close it over the winter months.

Unfortunalty we sewed the clips in so changing them would ruin the harness. But I have a peacewalker harness which is a lot more comfy and all plastic clip so may consider using that one time

Thats actually a really cool base harness. The problem with the snake harness is there is no padding so I imagine you'd get shoulder ache after a long period of time

Berget Events sounds familiar for some reason but I'm not sure why :S

Are you many that play?

I use molle and shoe glue easy to open with hot water.
Molle can always hold it in place.

I tryed to make something that looked close to snake harness, but still usable in the field.

[link] look at that Been there two times, around 1000-1400 ppl playing.
One of the largest arisoft games in the world.

I uploaded some airsoft shots to my profile

Thats a massive game site. The urban sites we play at are only 200-400 players I think. Tiny tiny. But yes I play in a team. We are inspired by MLP and we now have 8 members but the only photo I can find is of the original 6 members:
:thumb293949700:
Unfortunatly there our guns arn't in shot for this as we were outside the venue but I will try and find some photos of me in my kit they do exist

Love the pink camo haha
Have a friend that would love that

We are luck if we get 20ppl to play on sunday club games.
The best games are the big games, then we are around 80-100 maybe more. have some semi big games to with max 50 i think.

do you got alot of weapons ?

gaming-goddess In reply to crestfallen88 [2012-07-08 00:29:53 +0000 UTC]

Between us we have a fair few. I personally only have a TM Desert Eagle and SCII 10 inch Desert Eagle as this is what Meryl uses

We didn't want our team to be too serious, especially in close quaters because people will see you regardeless of what colour kit your wearing

I like smaller games myself as you feel like your getting more done, I get annoyed when people stack up in places and don't move forward and that happens less in the smaller games I find

I see your a true MGS fan that all you need, hehe
I have two MK23 and the silencer like in MGS1 only one work tho.

True about the CQC, some ppl get abit to much serious about there kits. My self i just like to have it in some OD\wood colors.

My experience, games with 8 or less it realy depends on who plays if its gonna be any fun.
12-16 theres gonna be alot of action and shooting thats always fun.
Most of the time you just need to take a chance and hope it works, and take them out.

gaming-goddess In reply to crestfallen88 [2012-07-08 00:50:46 +0000 UTC]

that's true. Yeah two of the group have a MK23 so thats cool.
Yeah I don't like people being too serious, its about having fun
Oh definatly all about taking a chance - no guts no glory

Only issue, its to big and heavy gun. Hard to have it holstered and run around.
Now i use i P226 with a serpa holster.

Thats the right attitude
Just as I would say it my self.

Yeah my friend ended up using an adjustable holster which just about fits his MK23 but it's still so bulky - but so pretty
