I seen that you photographed Les Papillons en libertΓ© in 2009 -- dude you should consider going back this year !! it's divided into 2 sections, using the full potential of the green house and it's friggin' awesome !! More variety, more in number ! i been already 3 times and it's been a blast each time !!

took a quick look. good subjects, but you should avoid repetition of the same subject many times when it look too much alike. ^^
And also when you are showing us a single subject like a wheel or a bike or a panel, be sure to stand facing it instead of shooting it from the side... cuz it makes it a little bit hard to read.
I understand you shoot with a 1000D (XS) well you can use some picturestyles to boost up some saturation on your shots. You can also shoot black and white. Canon's really well known for their distinct black and white render.
