Well, Hempfest was awkward because we were the last band to go on and everyone was going home to eat dinner by then. And the lights were on, and people were just sitting in chairs staring at us. So we cut our set short after forty minutes.
The after party was sick though. We played from 10:30 till 2:30 in the morning. It was probably the most fun I've had in a long time. Great crowd interaction, and we played the best we've ever played. Unfortunately, that show didn't get recorded.
We all decided that was the perfect setting for our music. Fuck being on stage, sharing the same dance floor and keg as the crowd is where it's at. Hope you can make it next time.

A lot of band here in Carbondale only like playing at Tres and Boobies for that very reason.. no elevated stage.

that is fucking sweet. the fact that there are only three strings to work with makes the intricacy of the song mind blowing. and i can definitely see a potential for that thing to be an even sweeter psychedelic instrument, given some spacey distortions and more avant-garde phrasing.
