You're welcome

BTW I had a look at your "Cost of war" series. Interesting premise, though I wonder if you might have given it too wide a scope and timespan?

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe I should give the timeline some major editing. Reduce it to a somewhat smaller scale than the 300 000 years I so far have.

I suppose it depends what you're trying to accomplish but it seems to sugest that everything that happens in the setting should be "epic" with the fate of civilisations in the balance whenever someone gets out of bed.

On the other hand if its events are meant to be "before the age of man" then its probably not a bad number to pick.

Well, the events in the series are at least set before the rise of the first accepted civilisations.

The epicness of the series is because it is essentially the story of how we went from a high-tech past to the "primitive" civilisations we're familiar with in history.

I'm thinking the series should have the Humans rebel against their creators in a massive interplanetary war that devastates our solar system.
After this, they manage to build up their own civilisation, but later destroy it in a world war. Following this, we have the rise of such civilisations as Sumer and Egypt.

Sometime before the creation of the Humans, opposing Titan factions fight an interstellar war (this was originally gonna be two separate races-Titans and Annuna. But I've decided that two factions of the same race works better).

However, while these big wars are the series's main feature, you're probably right in saying I should also focus more on other, less epic events as well.
The story I'm currently working on, "Remnant", is actually a Cost of War story with no war theme. With the revisions I'm making to the series, it's not really official canon, but it's still a good read nonetheless.

If you have any more tips, suggestions or questions involving my series, feel free to tell me.

Well its kinda more of a bookmark because I knew someone had done that but I didn't know who or where and even out of context its a good shapeshifter gag (whereas the Casey and Andy one kinda takes too much explanation)

The new chapter was an interesting twist, thought Derrik was really badly in the shit until the end.

well, the 'new' chapter is the last in the story, I don't intend to continue this one, and for the time being, I have no plans on following Derrik or Siyyu, but if I ever come up with something, I know that people will be glad to see them again at least.

Oh OK, I guess its a good place to conclude the story.

It's where I had intended to end it. I doubt I could have made it much longer than that, but I will be revisiting it to get some more quality out of it.
