# About me
I've been into art my whole life, but its only been in the past 4 years that I have immersed myself into it. I spent numerous years in and out of bands playing guitar, bass, and drums; only to have minimal success. I' m on a few EP's and home recordings, but it seems that I'm always drawn back to the pencil or paint brush. Currently I'm in school studying to become an art teacher and doing freelance jibs on the side. I'm always up for an adventure so I await the next place the paper or canvas takes me.# Comments

Hey there, I read your journal and I've had similar experiences, I was in an Industrial Metal band and bought out an album, we had fuck all luck distributing them and things fell apart, since then, I've been designing T-Shirts and Comic books.

Yeah the music biz can be a pain in the ass. Lately besides college ive been writing pulp stories and also doing the art for them, the old style pulp novels are coming back. Besides music -writing and art is all im really good at. Im kinda like a jack of all trades master of but a few, but writing and art is my definite forte.

I've had a few good ones do work on me, but my favorite died in '09. Now ive been going to one studio that a friend of mine's dad runs and he just .git his apprentice license.

He's just starting out but you can see a ton potential in his work. He's third generation. His grandfather was an artist, and his dad has been tattooing for 20 years. Ive seen his sketch book and its awesome. He likes doing portraits. He did one of George Carlin that just blew me away.
