I spent 3 months in India and have been in Nepal twice over a 6 month period. India was quite difficult although I enjoyed myself. I am very glad I went there.
Nepal... is my favorite travel destination.

yea... I am planning a two months trip myself maybe this February coming up. Taking my camera with me... any tips for the first timer? Places to visit and such... overall budget.

Budjet... Hard to say.. I was there quite a long time ago although I think you can get by on 10-15 dollars a day with food and hotel room. (not 5 star)
Places to visit?
Agra (taj Mahal)
Rajasthan (Jaisalemere) camel Fair
Dharamsala (exile home of Dahlai Lama)
Goa (never been there but hear it is nice).
Varanasi (where my India photo was taken)
......for a start.. these places will keep you busy!

Bob? I LOVED finding your page and gallery this evening.. and revisiting so many of my own old "haunts".. I'm full of memories, and you brought em all back again today! I don't know when you made this long trip, or whether you did them in sections.. but boy.. you are so BLESSED to have had a good camera with you.. and bring back all those GREAT pictures. They'll last you a lifetime, I'm sure!
Now tell me.. you wanna go back right? India.. you either love it or you hate it. If you left, it won't take you 6 momnths, and all you wanna do is go back. Am I right, or am I right?

No problem! I love all your travel pictures because I plan on going to India and all these places someday. I like the pictures a lot because they gave me a much better view of what it's like rather than touched up tourist attraction photos.
