I use GIMP, actually. A free-to-use program that's similar. Does pretty much all the same stuff, with different titles for all the features, and a completely different interface that most people find hard to learn... but I've been using different versions of the program for almost a decade now, so I'm adapted. hahaha

Oh, I know Gimp. I used it too on the Javik picture too and when I was still starting digital painting. But I had no idea that one can do such linearts with it like you. I usually used it for painting, because the edges of the brush are so blurry.

Brush edge can be a lot less blurry depeding on the brush you use! There are a lot of free packs for it here on DA, and you can make your own brushes really easily, too... but the newer versions also have some good additional brushes by default, like some chalk brushes I LOVE.
...but that blurriness of brushes? For a long time, GIMP defaulted you to a blurred circle brush, and not the full circle. No idea why. Looks a lot weirder. Hahaha
And yup! Can do good lines with it. Better than the other couple crappy programs I have. Hahaha
I tried to get Sai before, but couldn't make it work at all, and I don't have/have never used photoshop... But I've yet to be really unhappy with GIMP so far. Lineart's my favorite thing to do, and I can do it well enough there without complaints! So
