I am on the lookout for all sorts of Kung Fu Panda (KFP) related deviations. My interest spans everything that depicts, extends, or explains something in the KFP Universe. I prefer graphics because the stories tend to diverge from my own vision. That said, I still love to read the stories for inspiration. There are some amazingly talanted authors (and artists) here! It's a bit intimidating, actually...

Hehe, that's so weird, the translations I found said jade emperor. And when I tried to translate gold toad I got chan chu jin. :D (Big Grin)

Really? Well considering he lives in South America where it's mostly jungle and he protects those living there I suppose his unofficial name could be the Jade Emperor.

Well earned! :) (Smile) Agreed, and so many cheap jokes they could have removed. I suspect they're still stuck in Shrek-mode. That kind of silliness works great in that universe, but it doesn't mix well with an ancient China fantasy setting.
