Yes, I'm going back through reading Sailor Sirius's adventures. Well actually having it read to me as I have a text to speech program but it's nice to wander down memory lane.

Oh that's wonderful, I'm so glad you're giving my writings and Sailor Sirius a chance. I appreciate it. It's been so many years since I've written the Sailor Sirius fanfics, but I'm still struggling to get some feedback and recognition. I understand that she's not like the other fan senshi...she's not blonde or blue-eyed and such, but I worked very hard on her character design and stories...often scrapping whole chapters and starting over again. It would be nice for visitors and readers to say something or give meaningful comments, you know? Also, I'm not an artist, I know it's a big factor in the ignoring, but I do try. I've actually become good with the pic editing.

Being an artist helps but as you mentioned, editting and using bases can produce such beautiful results. And I think it's more that Sailor Moon OC's time in the sun has passed rather than skin colour having much to do with it. That said, I would love to see more dark skinned otaku senshi out there. 
I've been enjoying her old chapters, they're cute but I imagine you've learned a lot since then. Sailor Sirius has a very 'Me too, Sailor Moon!' Kinda vibe. Have you considered rebooting Sailor Sirius and reintroducing her to the fandom?  Give Sirius her own fuku design since she has her own kingdom! Come join us at the Sailor Moon Amino, we have a growing OC community there who'd love to welcome you.

Reboot Sailor Sirius? Oh gosh, it's been so long since I've left the Sailor Moon world and fandom....since about 2000. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I left because of some toxic, over-bearing, "purists" fans and their obsession over......certain characters and their relationship, and I just got sick of it. It turned into bullying, bashing, and ridiculing that didn't need to happen. Yeah, I know it was years ago and dealing with the original Japanese version of Sailor Moon, and those fans back then have grown up (hopefully) since then, but it does leave bad memories and I can only hope the new fans today were a little better when Sailor Moon Crystal came on the scene. It's funny, when Crystal first came out, I was asked by quite a few people about Sailor Sirius and writing more of her story, but each time I respectfully declined. After leaving feeling so very disappointed, I started by own stories and I've been having a ball since then. I don't have to worry about catering to toxic, PC (politically correct) and SJW (social justice warrior) yaoi and yuri fans, worry about who's in love with who and who's truly gay or not or whatever that fans consider "canon" or not. All of that was up to me and I LOVED it. I truly do hope to have my stories published one day. But I still do thank you for taking the time to read and letting me remember those days of having so much fun writing about Sailor Sirius.

It's up to you. I can't promise you won't encounter dickheads but I've got a nice little community we talk about OCs. They're okay with canon/OC characters. Good luck wherever you go!

I appreciate that. Yeah, I'm not going to get into it again, but since these characters' so-called "relationship" was never actually confirmed or shown in the anime, live action SeraMyu shows or manga and there was just basic, very subtle hints, I was disgusted at how some fans twisted it so badly and bullied others who didn't think as they did. I'll let it go at that and drop it. That's why I love fan fiction and fan art...you can create your own versions of relationships and characters, and some of them actually turn out better than the canon. ^^ But I also love doing original stories and characters too, so no one can bully you and tell you you're "wrong" in the characters. But yeah, I'll keep looking around that community.
