Screens are evil. I often wish people could see my works in person...hell, I sometimes wish I could see other peoples work in person. It's amazing at how much is lost when it's just a photograph.

Not at this moment. When this semester settles down I am going to try and venture out on a journey to find a gallery to show my work. I say try because I have massive anxiety when it comes to putting myself in situations where I can and will be rejected. Especially when it revolves around my skill and ability to create some sort of product.

Not that I am a master artist or anything, but I think that if you find a gallery that sells similar pieces, that would indicate to me that the owner likes that type of work. You have a better chance in a place that shows dramatic patterns and splashes of life than in a place that sells hallmark stuff. Also consider the patrons of the business. They go in expecting a style of art. And don't worry about anyone turning you down. It all really comes down to personal preference. Not all of us can appreciate real art, total creation, rather than a reproduction of life. That is what we do. We create. That is a real challenge, and if one gallery owner can't see the potential, move on. That is not the place for you.
