How do you practice, or, do you have any particular tips regarding practice?

I did a lot of figure studies (real nude models are the best but you can also take stock photos eg. from dA as a reference). You should draw a lot, it trains your eyes.
And experiments are always good, try drifferent medias and mix them up...just do whatever comes to your mind, the result doesn't need to be good but that's how you find your own style.
