I've finally begun recently the creation of a reenactment costume.

Some parts of my costume aren't finished yet (wrap leggings are cheap, I will buy better stuff soon for example) or are missing actually.

I've started working on my first viking pieces some weeks ago, it's a completely new age for me (I'm reenacting the late Middle Ages usually).

1) It depends a little of which of my costumes you mean. In general the design, details and material are made from actual finds. Not all my clothing and accessories are made in traditional ways. Some of my clothing have seams sewn on a machine. All visual seams are sewn by hand. Some of the clothing are speculative since there are no full finds of entire costumes. Most of the finds also comes from graves which means that I am actually not reenacting a living viking but a dead one.

2) I'm sorry to say that I don't.
