I mean that you have a fantastic way of seeing the world that, from what I can tell, is beginning to form a cohesive body of work around a particular set of subjects.

It could be that I'm only seeing what you've selected to post and that your style is really all over the place, but you're focusing images around specific subject matter, and you seem to be exposing and processing them in much the same way. That tells me that you're attracted to certain subjects and that you have certain preferences in how you craft your image.

So keep doing what you do, but look through your own gallery for yourself and see if you can match up what shots go with other shots in terms of subject and processing style. You don't have to have just "one" style, either. I have several, depending on my subject matter, but they're present and distinct from one another, just like yours.

thanks that is really going to help me. yes i have noticed i usually take the same kind of photos. and at the beggining i was more interested in colours. i still am but i started trying black and white too and some street photos, though i have only posted 2 here in dA.
i have been learning alot from others and by seeing other people's work. and i think also that i have improved my skills since i first came here.

The only thing you can do is keep trying. I tend to believe that most style things come naturally until you reach a point where you decide what fits them and what doesn't. That's when you really start to control them.
