In reality, I think it cannot be done without consequences. Surgically removing the voice cords would leave you voice-less, but it cannot be undone or repaired, ever. All gags keep your jaws in a fixed position, either with your mouth wide open, or your jaws clamped together. But you have strong muscles in your jaws and normally, muscles should contract/relax once every while. Maybe the most comfortable gag for (semi-)permanent wear is a gwendoline hood.

However, if you wear that every day, expect your hair to go thinner and thinner after six months.

Right now, I am rewriting the story (The Return of the Paramour), to fix weaknesses in the plot. I have been working on it (in spare time) for the past year, but I want to upload it on my blog only after it is completely finished. I am halfway chapter 9 now (out of 10).

The background story for my pictures is a world where (sex) slavery is illegal, but where it is hiding in plain sight. Ironically, that is close to reality: sex slavery exists and is indeed hiding in plain sight (but using other means than bondage).

I came across archw.com a few years ago, and while I can't say it directly inspired my work, I do try to get the same kind of atmosphere in my pictures as what you have in your photographs. Specifically, the ladies seem to be at ease in bondage, in your photos. It is as if they are wearing cuffs just like they are wearing clothes.
So I really appreciate your comment, just like I appreciate your work.

Short answer: I don't know, but it will take a while.
Longer answer: I got myself stuck in this story (I just started writing and drawing without planning any plot line). The fixes in the plot require changes in almost any chapter. In addition, an epilogue is needed (i.e. chapter 10). I will probably want to finish all if it and post the renewed story at once.
