I consider Michael to be a Fellow Ranger. If you are in the woods up in the hills, you are ranging. Logging, guiding, matters not. Ranger. I love that boy like a brother, yes. A fine man indeed. A friend of his is a friend of mine. You seem to be a very interesting lady, so it should be fun getting to know you.
I will watch your work so I do not miss anything good, because I ran out of time looking at all the good stuff you already have. I must return for a longer visit, perhaps several. Art takes a long time to look at sometimes...

Michael is like a dear brother to me. Oh, and yeah, his camera skills are second to none.. Definitely Nat Geo material. He reminds me of Nigal Caldar, always out in the remote bush, seeing things up close and personal which mostΒ folks can only dream of. His ability to juxtapose himself with Nature is truly incredible. He gives lumberjacks a good name, especially those who manage the forests of this continent.
Michael is a fellow ranger. He is family. And I believe he lives up to his namesake, the Right Hand Man of God. He could walk into GSMNP HQ and fit right in among the best of 'em, by golly. It is a true privilege and great honor to include you in my humble circle of fellow deviants.
My world is well off the beaten path. Little known are we. But then, rangers usually travel alone. And the number of folks who can operate and maintain a mighty theatre pipe organ are growing fewer every year. Soon, we will be in the annuls of history books only. Americana is being lost at an incredible rate. Unless we preserve our history, the past will soon be forgotten. If that happens, our future will not be bright as we repeat mistakes long forgotten...
