I saw some of your pixel art and it looks absolutely amazing!
So I was wondering, could you give a beginning pixel artist some tips?
I am trying to get the hang of it before I go to college this september.

Well... just practice... there is no real answer or secret.
If you don't know how to do something or what to do there's no harm looking at other ppl stuff for inspiration/reference.
Thats all I can say, sorry xD The truth is that I didn't follow any tutorial or anything like that myself, I just gone and tried to do stuff ... basicaly "trial and error"
(But tutorials do actually help, I was just dumb not tring them xD)
Anyways.. something that really helped me to improve is the feedback I received while posting stuff on pixel joint ( pixeljoint.com/ ) I don't know if the site is like it used to be when I was active, but you can give it a try : )
