censorship across regions are made by the developers for many reasons, like the culture of countries for example, in Asia people there are ok with seeing people naked (bathhouses n shit) however in the U.S. that isn't the case and people don't like seeing tits around the corner. these changes are made so the games can be the least offensive as possible so people play the game more. some people dont like it but its a business choice. for example: Zulia in blade and soul had her outfit censored for marketing reasons, as the story went on she became more of a main character and NCsoft didn't wanna have tits on their adds all the time since thats not the primary focus of the game. its not that they don't want us to see it or play it its simply how these things work. and by the way i did talk to an employee of team bloodlust who made bns and yes she said it was an advertisement thing. its not that they want to keep us from seeing the full game, more like they want it to fit with the most people in the country they're selling it in, if you have issues with this just buy or play the originals (bns Korea servers n shit for example). there are also censorship's because of how people see violence and or sexual content. as I've already said in Asia they are okay with people being nude however they aren't too keen on the violence (I've only heard about this idk if its true or not) however in the U.S. things like guns and shooting people and lots of gore in video games, like Doom for example, has tons of gore and violence, its simply a thing they gotta do to market and sell the games. its not up to you or me or anyone outside the company to choose what gets censored its just legal shit. 


in short its not that theyre keeping content from us its more like, they wanna market to as many people as they can for sales n shit its nothing malicious like hiding content or some shit. its their game they can do what they want to it

indeed however keep in the case of zulia that one is a whole other can of worms as in korea there is essentialy something similar to gamergate going on over there and so the version of zulia we have here is actuly the same as in korea. and as for the censorship in the united states bit did you even watch the video? the directly lose customers by doing so. because most games dont apeal to every one and by censoring it you basicly lose the loyal niche audience they would have had its generaly a bad business decicion as a whole. and again your right people can just go and play the korean version. and again they did clearly state in a stream pre launch that they would NOT censore the game "a clear attempt to draw in the niche audience" and when they go and turn around and censor it in this case that to me sounds like a case of bait and switch aka false advertising witch to my knolage is againt ftc regulations. and the person from team bloodlust is actuly either out of the loop or full of shit as it was a clear political move on the part of the developers and localizers as evident by firstly banning people from the forums from talking about it and secondly what one of the dev or localizers or what ever said on there linked in profile and inturn didnt realy have any thing to do with advertising. at least not initialy

well when they release a game in other countries theres things to take into account: how people see the content as an over all culture, laws on violence and nudity (thats a big one), and how the marketing is gonna be affected n shit. theyre not trying to make it appeal to a small group of people, theyre trying to make as many sales as possible. look at it from a business point of view. instead of trying to appeal to a small niche they want to appeal to everyone so everyone buys the game therefore making a profit off of it. also i know this person from bns. and they said that and it made sense. said employee is incredibly nice and explained it. if you hate the censorship so much dont play the game and quit complaining. theyre doing it as a business practice and thats reasonable. 


please end this little issue here, ive heard enough of it from you.

relax i just thought i would mention that video since that video shows my points a little more indepth and trust me i am looking at it from a busniess perspective. shady practices like that cause bad publicity and tarnish a companys reputation. lol i was able to get my hands on a switch and it feelz gud seeing how preorders were eaten alive

i got to a store when they opened and was lucky enough to get one of the few, i think they had 39 that day
