I've been focused on drawing people for so long now that every time I try to draw any kind of big cat from memory it's Real Bad and I get frustrated lol. weirdly something that's helped me with drawing people has been drawing in the steven universe style?? there's something about the style that helps me loosen up a bit, plus it's just a lot of fun! also idk if you saw the centaur I drew a while back but I feel like you'd appreciate it

I have actually never watched Steven Universe but I know, I know! I need to fix that lmao It's just one more thing on my list of things I need to watch X'D (along with last season of Stranger Things, last THREE seasons of Walking Dead, and latest season of The 100 X'D ... I foresee a lot of binge watching in my future lmao) ♥ -- Also, yes, I did see that centaur, and I love it, but I love all your humanoid stuff! ; w; They're just so soft and prettyyyyy ♥

Favorite thing oooooh gosh ummm... Actually, I think I'd have to say the In My Sorrows  piece I did for Art Fight ; w ; It was the largest thing I'd done in a LONG time and it felt good to shake off the cobwebs >w< Plus the character is looovely ♥ and other than that, the chibis I've been working on have actually been pretty fun >W< lol

oh wow!! somehow I hadn't seen it but gosh, it's so gorgeous!! the water effect is incredible, the coloring is so soft and lovely, and there's a really cool vibe to the whole piece. amazing!!! <3 also your chibis are SO DANG CUTE I love them

I get what you mean about cobwebs haha. the biggest piece I've done in a while is either the selkie or my seahorse mermaids, which legit took me 10 months of working on cause I kept redrawing bits and pieces until I was satisfied. but I really love the result and it's a rare piece of mine that even after over a year I still think is quite good! I'm definitely a bit of a perfectionist and can almost always find some kind of glaring fault with my art after the fact, but that piece still holds up in my eyes haha. I'd love to know what you think of it!!! >w<

ugh, I'm sorry you can relate, chronic illnesses are the worst. if you ever wanna talk I'm always down for some commiserating lol.

it's going to be 6 years for me in october, which means that I've spent almost a quarter of my life being sick. crazy how time flies, even when you're bored out of your mind most days.

I did end up having a good day for the most part!! had a nice dinner with my mom and my friend came over to give me presents c:

I was diagnosed/got super sick in 2013. I can't believe it's been almost 6 years - a quarter of my life now that I'm 24.

thank you, it really does help to talk to someone who actually Gets It!! I don't have really any friends who have a chronic illness apart from a family friend, but I don't get to talk to her all that much.

mind if I ask what you have? I have Lyme disease, which is extra fun cause it likes to give you symptoms of a bunch of different illnesses lol.

Yeah I don't mind talking about it! I have Ulcerative Colitis, which is really similar to Crohns Disease. The disease itself is in my large intestine but I get the same problem, it manifests basically everywhere else too. When it's under control it isn't too terrible to live with but it never really goes away, just have to learn to live with it. Which i'm sure is very similar to your situation.

ugh geez, that sounds like a pain!! lyme causes all kinds of gastro issues for me so I feel you. I'm actually seeing someone soon to get some stuff checked out cause I think I might have ulcers in my stomach?? so that's fun. the thing I hate the most about lyme is that there aren't really any good treatments for it, I've done rounds of antibiotics but they haven't worked, and have actually led to some of the aforementioned gastro issues (including me having to get my gallbladder removed).

I still haven't quite figured out how to manage it to a point where I can actually have a life because of how simultaneously inconsistent and debilitating it can be, with random new symptoms just popping up every so often. last year I started getting migraines and had one every day for 80 days straight, which was just insane. it also makes things like school and work unsustainable y'know? can't exactly call in sick 80 days in a row lol.

Alright here's basically what happen

They resold and I bought it
Not long after they started telling me that "they just missed tj character so much"
I felt bad and even though I wa sincrwdibly attached sold it back
Only to find out like the next day they sold it again for even higher than I paid and deleted the post before I could find out who they sold too
This character meant a lot to me i have it back because I thought maybe they actually cared about having it but I was incredibly wrong
