It went all right. I finished my word count, but still have a ways to go with the actual novel. I'll also have to rewrite quite a lot once I'm to the editing stage.

Its fictional. Its more like him in present day. There is magic and demons and a lot of crazy stuff. Some of it is Historical Based.

(Not annoying at all) I got about one draft done before I didn't like where it was going and changed it. Now I'm reworking a lot of it again.

That's during the worse time of the year for me because of school. I normally get plotting done during the school year and try to work on the actual story during the summer.

That's how most of my stories end up too. It's also probably why I prefer writing fantasy! With fantasy, as long as you are consistent you can make stuff up.

I just love all of the world building, making up cultures and languages and everything, though I agree that research can be a lot of fun. (My friends always laugh when I say I do research for fun.) I actually want to put together a site that has a bunch of research and resources for writers with sections focusing on useful topics for different genres that go down to really specific things. It would basically be a more concise Google, I guess.

I think that researching is probably the reason I love writing so much. There is always new stuff to learn! And as writers we get to research the strangest stuff.

Oh yeah. The best stuff. I have a few things I need to look into because there are some books that just came out about Jack being a woman. I'm just not sure if I believe that though. I want to look into what the man said about it and make my own judgement.
