Yeah, I've just been super busy with college and other matters. I am doing well though. I've also been having a kind of artist's block, where I want to start drawing, but I just end up staring at a blank piece of paper trying to figure out what I want to draw lol

Yeah, I noticed you've been posting more drawings of your Plague Doctor themed species. Personally, I'm trying to grasp on a new story and characters, but I keep meeting dead ends. My plan is to submit a manga-style story, I've experimented with a format for making manga/comic style pages before.
The problem is making a new immersive world and story. But I don't even have the characters I want yet.

And that sounds cool. I would read your manga and story. You have some awesome characters. I remember that one character who was a witch or something. Tarsa(I think..it's been so long) she was cool and wicked.

lol It has been a while, I remember Tarsa as well. Most of my story ideas are mostly like scattered scenes, even "screenshots" of scenes. Some fit together in a very vague plot I want to create (like scenes with reoccurring characters), and others have different characters that I haven't included in many ideas and scenes. It's really a huge mess and completely disorganized. I literally need to to scan through my whole gallery and the countless folders I've used over the years just to remember every character I've made, let alone remember what story they're in. And it feels like such a huge task, that I get kind of lazy lol
I kind of want to "get serious" with this manga though. I don't want to make generic characters, and I want to give them all journeys to explore and develop as people, but I'm not sure where to begin. I also want a world that feels alive and real, with working cultures and rules, but I'm not sure where to begin there either. I'm waiting on making the story until I know where I want my characters to grow. It's just all crazy...

Wow it definitely sounds overwhelming. I'm afraid I don't know anything about making a manga or books along with the plot, character development, ect. So I don't know how to really help or give any good advice.:c
I'm afraid the only advice I can give is start small. Like maybe make a world with towns and cities(Or whatever you wish to do

I really want to start with characters, because if it's going to be long series manga, I want the story to revolve around character growth, but I don't know if I should use a character I've made already, or an entirely new character.

And I'm not sure. Character growth I feel is a difficult aspect to do for books and stories. Though I don't really know how to write any stories besides just the standard rp kind of story.
Maybe try researching (If you haven't already) how to write mangas and stuff. I'm sure there is guidelines or helpful tips of some sort to get you started or to just help you overall.

I wonder if I should try an RP with my characters before I start writing them into the story. I noticed with our past RPs, we usually had our characters meet, then we just threw new situations at them. We seemed more interested in what our characters did than we did about making a complete story (since the stories were kind of non-canon to the stories we wanted for our characters).
I really just want to have a starting point for my characters and figure out how I want them to grow up.

lol yeah, I had a lot of characters I was developing in the RP, but it's so hard to keep track of what all that happened.
If we do another RP, I may try using just a few of my characters. I have one character in mind right now, but the plot ideas I had for him, made him end up in another world. I was thinking of maybe trying an RP of a time when he returns to Earth, but I'm still trying to think of what happened to him in the other world. I haven't tried this character in an RP yet though.

It was a good and interesting start
Oh I don't know if I told you. But eco is no longer a character anymore. I changed her up(only slightly though) and gave her a new name. Her name is Nightshade. She's got a supernatural Raven named Dust and a large horse with a flaming mane,tail and hooves named Phantom. ^^

And I also changed Heinrich too. He was a vampire before but now he's a homicide detective and can turn into a demon with a different personality. He doesn't know he changes into the demon form though. I think I posted his info in my gallery.
And I've made a new character too. He's a vampire but he was a plague doctor and works in medicine. I should have his info too in my gallery.i think I do.
And personalities can be difficult for new characters. Hm..

Hm...maybe. I know I had phantom only he was called something different. I don't know if I had Dust at that point or not. It's been so long.
And yeah he turns into a demon and never remembers it. I'm sure he'd probably try to investigate sightings and information ,not realizing it is him.

I thought I remember seeing Dust come in at some point. I think I remember hearing about "Eco's" horse, but I don't remember if that horse had a name or not.
It's almost like a werewolf kind of thing, the type of werewolf that rampages and pillages without a second thought. I also wonder if He ever finds evidence for the Demon inside him, like his front door being broken, or footprints or anything else leading to his house.
What I struggle with is making personalities grow as the character grows.

I think the horses name was Rache? Something like that. I don't remember lol it's been quite awhile.
And yeah, the story I have for him is he was taken to an underground secret lab and was experimented on. He was actually trying to figure out similar cases of people going and staying missing and/or people going missing but then showing up with no memory of what had happened to them.
Unfortunately, he's in the same boat. He was taken and fused with a demon but unfortunately he remembers nothing and doesn't even know a thing about what happened to him.
And I have the same problem tooXD
