Seriously! They had the coolest dynamic going on, and you could totally tell even in that season 5 episode that it hadn't faded. Spike is just an idiot. Drusilla is one of the most awesome characters EVER, and I'm so glad she never got killed off. She and Oz. Gone but not forgotten. *snort*

No kidding. I mean, they got rid of Doyle for being too much like Angel, and then they go and make Spike "ensouled vamp who happens to be in love with Buffy" #2. Nice work, guys! Yeah. Season 2 Spike was awesome. I liked him as well in 3, and also even in 4 when he had the chip and had to resort to insulting people because he couldn't hurt them. That was amusing. But Harmony lost him points. A lot. And that's not even to the later seasons yet.

I'm in the middle of season six, and it involves lots of eye-twitching and teeth-clenching. Trying to watch it from an objective, psychological standpoint isn't working. My Buffy/Angel and Spike/Drusilla complexes are evidently too powerful to repress.

Haha, exactly. Yes, Harmony getting with Spike was just wrong. But I just finished season 6 and I'm disappointed in the sense that it is more like a soap opera thanthe a wittyTV show about a girl who fights vampires. It sucks. No pun intended.
