Hi, of course now that I gave you some hints the newest version of MB3D has some changes.  One is the txt button I mentioned before.  Andreas has updated it to say "from clipboard" and "to clipboard" (open and save) makes a lot more sense.

There is one thing that will help you learn from this version.  now at the top left just next to the "navigator" button is "MutaGen".  That will create different versions of the fractal you are working with using different formulas and parameters.  I just uploaded my first play at this and I'm delighted.

The newest version of MB3D is available here at Andrea's site.  www.andreas-maschke.com/?cat=2… . Andreas didn't create MB3D, he created jwildfire but when the original author decided not to move forward with MB3d Andreas took it on.  And he's doing very good.
