Hello! I was just browsing and I stumbled upon the piece you did of Holland/Lydia, and I was just wondering if you would be willing to let me include it in my fan project?Ā

I'm giving her a book full of fan artwork/letters at a convention next weekend and I'm still trying to find some things to include. More info can be found here if you're interested-Ā righteouspumpernickel.tumblr.cā€¦

Doctor Who is SERIOUSLY addicting! I'm very tempted to put aside my schoolwork and just watch every episode ever made. (I started on Season 6, the one with Christopher Eccleston as the ninth Doctor. I'm now somewhere at the beginning of Season 7. David Tennant is a wonderful Doctor, but I miss Christopher Eccleston's goofy, cheerful smile.)

I KNOW, ISN'T IT?! It is just so much fun, i love it, wait until you get to the eleventh doctor! which episodes have stuck out to you so far? ahhhhh <3

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

Bri-JetSilver In reply to Sully-Bean [2012-11-21 15:54:34 +0000 UTC]

(For whatever reason, the seasons are counted on Netflix as Season 7, Season 8, and so on. I'm just explaining this so that I don't confuse you.)

I'm very excited for The Eleventh Doctor! I think that he will be my favorite. Right now, though, I'm in the second season starring David Tennant; he has just met Martha Jones. So far, "The Parting of Ways" and "The Impossible Planet" have been my favorite. TPoW had some fantastic action scenes, and Rose's transformation into The Bad Wolf was AMAZING! She stopped a genocidal race within seconds. I liked TIP, because 1) I like the Ood for some reason, 2) I think that the idea of a planet orbiting a black hole is really a very cool one, and 3) most importantly, Toby's demon-possession was freaky! I don't scare easily, but I was horribly unnerved to see him with glowing red eyes, words scrawled across his face, and this deep deep voice coming from his mouth.

Does Netflix not have the original show? Ahh weird, I thought it did. I've only seen odd episodes from the Doctors before Christopher Eccleston, it's all a bit cringey and weird... new who all the way! I'm glad you like Doctor Who now, though! It's such fun.

"Cringey and weird" - you have the best way of describing things.

It's definitely one of the most enjoyable things that I've ever seen. And it's worked its way into my dreams. A few nights back, I dreamt that I was a companion to the 10th Doctor. I had to help him save a planet that was dying. It was very cool, very fun and adventurous.

I need to apologize to you. You've left several comments for me, and you sent me a nice note, but I haven't responded. Reasons: 1) I lost the comments. At the time when I thought I had to delete my account, I decided to "clean" it, and I deleted everything. 2) As for the note, I was very overwhelmed by your understanding and kindness, and I didn't know what to write back.

However, the predominant reason is I've had to do some heavy thinking this year: what do I want? Where do I want to go in life? When can I move out of the house? Sometimes, I just didn't or just don't have the energy to reach out to other people, because I'm so busy trying to sort what's in my own head.

However, I've made a triumphant return...mostly. I still have other things to post, but did you not see how I uploaded three deviations in less than a month? That is remarkable progress for me.

I know, gah. Some of her scenes were just so... cringey. Like the bit where Sherlock identifies Irene's 'body' and Molly is like, "How did Sherlock recognise her from... not her face?" LIKE UGH MOLLY WHY, STOP LOL! She plays the role so well though.

Sully-Bean In reply to Bri-JetSilver [2012-08-11 11:35:04 +0000 UTC]

This is really weird, because NO i hadn't, not in ANYTHING else and then the other day I was at my nan's house watching a film called the Exotic Marigold Hotel or something, and for like two minutes you see this hairdresser in a shot and i was like OMG IT'S MOLLY HOOPER! And it was! WEIRD RIGHT? But no, I've not seen her properly in anything else. I've read interviews and stuff though, she seems so cool. I love her.

For this Hunger Games discussion, would you go first? I'm intrigued by one of your previous statements; you said you LIKED the first one. Why did you like it? I found it mostly middling, but I'd very much like to hear a counter-viewpoint.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

Sully-Bean In reply to Bri-JetSilver [2012-07-30 17:11:16 +0000 UTC]

I did quite like the first one! When I was reading it, I got really engrossed. It just... affected me. The idea of it. I found myself absorbed and disturbed because like, what the hell, it's a kind of post apocalyptic world or whatever where they get kids to kill each other for food. I just. What. (At some points I had to put it down and just sit and feel thankful that it was fiction. It's such a scary idea and it kept me thinking about it even when I wasn't reading.)
I also liked Katniss. She's, well, for want of a better word, kind of a badass. I liked the contrast between her and Peeta at the beginning, because it seems like in so many books the girl is the one who can't protect herself and the man is more superior, when in this it was like the opposite. Until you find out that Peeta has crazy superhuman strength or whatever. That realisation rather shot that horse in the face. But yeah. Katniss was cool.
(OH I ALSO LOVED CINNA BECAUSE I SAW HIM SO CLEARLY IN MY MIND AND HE WAS JUST THE BEST GAH CINNA I LOVED HIM <3)
Also, when they were actually in the games, there were some very exciting moments. And it was written clearly, so it was just an easy fun kind of excitement. You know?
I think it could have been written better, but only afterwards, rereading sections did I really notice that is was a bit lame in that the vocabulary was meh-ish and her narrative could have been more exciting, with more opinions and stuff. But, I don't know. I read it around christmas time, so it's not very fresh in my mind.
What about you? I can tell this is going to be a fun debate.

Well, there's nothing for it. I HAVE to marry Sherlock, as played by Benedict Cumberbatch. He's far too intelligent, unintentionally hilarious, and pretty to be without female companionship. We shall venture into public in matching scarves, and our cheekbones will glisten by both moonlight and sunlight.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 2

Sully-Bean In reply to Bri-JetSilver [2012-03-14 19:26:01 +0000 UTC]

Haha! I love him too! I'm so happy you love Sherlock now! It's amazing, right! Oh, you will be pleased/horrified to know that I started writing a musical for it- I call it Sherlock: The Musical. LOL! (I'm only half joking, I actually did write a song or two for it but alas, it was not to be. LOL)
Also, I think that was probably the best paragraph I have ever read in my entire life ever. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT
I expect you two will be very happy together!
But what, may I ask, will happen to dear old John? He will be so lonely when Sherlock is off on adventures with instead! Wait... I KNOW! I'LL TAKE HIM OFF YOUR HANDS FOR YOU HOW'S THAT OKAY IT'S NO TROUBLE HONEST I'LL JUST PICK HIM UP NOW SHALL I I'LL BE ROUND IN 5 TELL HIM TO PACK HIS TOOTHBRUSH I'M COMING BABY I'M COMING!
*cough*

I am VERY pleased! That is such a wonderful, absolutely hilarious idea. If it ever goes public, I will spend much cash for the opportunity to see it.

You're welcome, and thank you, too. I have to say, I'm not sure what came over me when I wrote that. *slight blush*

*snort* *snicker* *giggle* Ahhh, whom am I kidding? WAH HA HA HA HA!!!! Now THAT was the funniest paragraph I've ever read.

And tell John not to worry. Sherlock and I will be back after we've proved/disproved the existence of Atlantis; that's our honeymoon trip.

Sully-Bean In reply to Bri-JetSilver [2012-03-19 16:26:55 +0000 UTC]

It will be like A Very Potter Musical. ONLY BETTER! Incidentally, did you hear that Team Starkid are making a new musical? It's called Holy Musical B@tman! It's going online in a few weeks, I AM BEYOND EXCITED!!
Also that sounds like the funnest adventure ever. SO doing that for my honeymoon!

Bri-JetSilver In reply to Sully-Bean [2012-03-29 14:31:54 +0000 UTC]

I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT IT WILL BE BETTER!!!

What?! No way! I hadn't heard ANYTHING about it until you told me. Yes - I have something new to look forward to! (The title's cracking me up, by the way.)

Sherlock and I talked it over; you and John can come with us. HURRY AND PACK YOUR THINGS! The world needs to know the truth of Atlantis! *cue awesome music*
