Haaave you by any chance received the gift I ordered for you? I realised after I ordered it that it would be sent from China and according to the tracking info it was sent in december, but I know from past and current experience how slow some international mail can be

Work is going alright, I'm still doing the 2 jobs at the moment since the main manager is away at the moment so I can't ask him if I'm permanent yet, he might be back this week though from what I can tell...

Nothing's arrived yet if it comes with the regular post - which most parcels do - then there won't be an issue as the postman comes at a time when he can get in the building on his own, after that a tenant has to let you in and we've been having problems with our door buzzer at the moment to get in otherwise - the picture isn't working, they came back to try and fix it today but the part they had wasn't strong enough or something.

I know the feeling about Chinese post though, I ordered something myself 2nd Jan and the estimated delivery is 13th Jan to the 2nd Feb. I think some things in the past have taken even longer

I've now been confirmed as permanent! I've given my notice in at the school for my last day to be Friday 13th, just before half term. I like the extra money from the two jobs but it is exhausting and the hours at the school are a pain. 3:30-5:30pm, although we're lucky if we finish on time.

It looks like your present finally arrived today if it's an adorable plushie unicorn! Took the post-people long-enough though thank you so much! (The thing I bought was an owl shaped USB necklace - so definitely not the same), they definitely need to sort out the speed issues with international post though
