Aw it sucks trying to find a job, I'm safe as I'm a student so no need for me to get a job unless I want extra money but it's good otherwise

lucky sod! I'd really like to go and see Defenders II!
I haven't got any lined up, I think Alice Cooper is the only one that is in the thought line. Money is clamping down on my ability to go and see bands and there're no good ones coming near here. Magic Numbers is tonight and it's Free, so I'm going there for New Year.

Not mine either, I wouldn't buy a cd of theirs that's for sure! But since it was free and part of the new years celebrations I went. It was pretty good as far as indie gigs go.

TO make up for the waste of time gig at new year, I went to see MachineHead and Metallica at the O2 arena in London. IT was quite good, I have to say...I can't complain 'cos my friend got free tickets

FREE TICKETS!?!? MH are great live, seen them twice and both were great performances I'm happy I saw them with Slipknot because apparently Phil Demmel, lead guitar collapsed on stage which prompted the band to stop touring...

I wouldn't mind actually having a chance to see Metallica I tihnk it'd be great to see some original thrash live

Free!! I've no idea how he got them, something to do with his friends cousin and family not being able to go, so we got them.
They are really good live, one of the few band I've seen that actually looked like they liked being on stage, especially Phil!

It was good seeing some original thrash live They did end with Enter Sandman, not my favourite Metallica song, the rest were good though! Health and Safety had their way though, they had pyrotechnics on stage and the band had to get off to get them going..bah!

what!? but I've seen Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy right in front back at Defedners of The Faith 1 lol...well they've probably got their whole bodies insured for some amount lol just incase, so they'll be reimbursed to make them feel slightly better lol

Oh man it was soo brutal! My neck is destroyed! I have no idea how my knee survived, I was holding back 3 fat blokes so I wasn't being whipped by my friends hair. Trigger the who? They were so poor! They were told to eff off after 1 song! The drummer in Meshuggah, he had at least 3 rythms going at once at one point, I couldn't keep up at all. Both guitarists had the wrong guitars at the start acht well, it was mental!

Same, well, I might be going when they're in Glasgow (ABC) on the 10th of October, happens to be the day after my birthday haha! My friend is sorting it out, or supposed to be...aint half taking his time.
There's a second Astoria? I thought there was just the one.

Dragonforce will be good though, if they're even half as good as they were when I saw them last.

That's quite lame. I don't think anything is happening for Dragonforce for me. My friend hasn't got back to me or anything. So my October gigs are ruined acht well November to come and I've got a few then. Airbourne (for a laugh) and Opeth. Shall be fun to say the least.

That's a tough call! I'd go with friends party, maybe you can get to the gig before the party

went to the party, I thought, they'll come back, they've been touring for about 3-4 years lol... I seen them once and met a couple of them... I tihnk I can wait a little... but the party was worth it xD but next thing I'm organising is WACKEN 2009!!! lol

Nice move! That's not so bad, you'll see them at some point soon.
I went to see Don Ross and Andy McKee, my god was it good! The guitar skill was good and the songs brilliant. There was a little bit of banter going aswell. Got to speak to them, they seemed like good folk, quite happy to talk etc. I was surprised they came somewhere near me! Not having to travel 200 miles to see a band was rather nice!

Feckin Wacken, I'd like to go there but the pennies are hard to come by for me just now
