I was thinking of making a blog post about various religions and proverbs that support women.

That quote is ridiculous! Something makes me uncomfortable about putting such controversial words into the mouth of Jesus of all people, when he probably never said that. And guess what, I'm not even Christian! I just respect the guy anyway, like how I respect Gandhi. Jesus stands for something, even if my faith doesn't interpret his identity in the same way as some other people's faiths. That thing that he stands for (to me) is the ideal that all people are worthy, not that you have to become male before you can be worthy.
I think that anything that is controversial, if you are going to blog it in this group, should come dressed with appropriate warnings and disclaimers, as well as a well-explained justification for its relevance to True-Amazons. The outcome needs to be to generate positive attitudes toward women, not to be shocking for shock value's sake. There are other ways to educate people than to just assault their beliefs.
A blog about religious proverbs that supports women could be good. Maybe for next month. For our next blog, I still think that we should be looking at something for Women's History Month before March ends.

Ok. It wasn't meant to assault anyone's beliefs. It was just supposed to point out that Jesus believed in giving women equal opportunities to learn because he had faith in her potential regardless of her sex.
I have some proverbs that I was going to include also but if you think it'd be best to stay away from anything mainstream I understand. One of the quotes I was going to use was the Chinese proverb "when sleeping women wake, mountains will move"
But yeah I didn't mean this month. I just wanted to know whether I should spend my time on writing that out for your blog or not at all.
