Well it's about this 17 year old girl named Alice Proserpine living pretty much all her life on the road with her mother; always trying to avoid the bad luck that's been biting at their heels, up until her grandmother who was a reclusive author of pitch-dark fairy tales passes away in her estate called the Hazel Wood, and Alice's bad luck is only just beginning when her Mother is taken by a figure who claims to be from the cruel supernatural world that her grandmother had her stories set in. The only lead that she has is from her Mother herself, a note that says:

"Stay away from the Hazel Wood."

It's a pretty great book so far, I'd definitely recommend it!

I've just been working on a few contest prizes, you did miss a pretty great draw my oc contest I had open for a while.
But I'll plan to open some more either near Christmas or somewhere around V-day in February.

Oh wow your getting snow?? We only get rain around this time of year, hardly any snow being in TX and all. =w=;
My father has been working away from home for the past three months and he just now got off work yesterday,
hopefully he'll be off for the Holidays and they don't call him back out. We'll be planning a family trip to the mall this Friday before Thanksgiving. *w*

I just redid a drawing about twenty minutes ago. I think it look okay. Still working hard to draw what I use to draw...

No but it looks like it. I think this year we will. It’s extremely cold out and the nights gets down to 20 degrees e.e
