Yeah but I find it easier to just do it and apologize/play dumb when told off. Like my mario cosplay, we just kinda went for it and did it in the store and were kinda surprised we weren't asked to leave.

I can't rebel against life, I hope to get into University in the autumn so want to set a good example and you must act normal in public or people will not be happy to see an old person dressing up in public

The con I was going to wear it to got cancelled so the cosplay got pushed back for now.

The Hermione, the con I wanted to do her for I mostly wanted to do because it was at the most perfect location for shoots. And the university they were holding it at is quite strict with trying to organize shoots that aren't during a convention (due to assholes being disrespectful of the uni in the past. Like rearranging shit without putting it back/stepping on plants/being generally loud and disruptive etc) So I guess when I do put it together it will likely just be for a couple of photos and only if we could get the uni to agree to it

I can understand why they wouldn't want people in the university and Hermione never went to 1 so not sure the relevance of you going there.
Their are plenty of people taking pictures in London which is where Hogwarts is and I tried to get a University to allow me a new screenwriter and casting director to shoot a movie there so if I can't do it, I honestly see your chances of being trusted are less than mine.
