HEy there, Just wanted to let you know that I am loving your and 's story so far. I have been squeeing over the excerpts that she has posted, but I thought since you are working together then you deserve to know how awesome you are too. I'm really enjoying reading the little snippets you are sharing with us and I look forward to being able to read it in full and hopefully thrown some form of currency at you guys for some form of book based product
Any ideas yet on what form the novel will take? I'm an old fart so I always love the idea of a hardcopy "book" book, but I'll be all over whatever form you guys decide to go with
ANyways, just wanted to let you *both* know (Merlinda is awesome and I know that she would be passing all this on, but from the source is always nice!) that your work together is really engaging, and vibrant and I've thoroughly enjoyed reading what you have posted of the story so far

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! Yes, Merlinda is indeed awesome. Her and I have been close for over a year now, and it all started over her joining my dragon age group the-grey-wardens. We eventually came into contact and now she's one of my closest friends. We started brainstorming over this book about six months ago when she showed interest in my OC, Roberto, whom I'd already had an entire backstory and personality for. (I practically create OCs like my life depends on it) we only recently had the idea for a steampunk-esque renaissance Italy. She's pretty new to it, but I've gone to steampunk cons, and done cosplays for years.
I'm hoping we can go hard back once it's finished, but we'll both be posting small clips and pieces of the book until the plot becomes more solid. We have Lisabetta and Roberto's dynamics and relationship down but I'm not satisfied with just a romance story in such an adventurous setting. But god, I'm jibber-jabbering far too much, thank you so much for the kind words and long message (I never get those! :3)
We have high hopes for this project, and hope it comes on sale within the next two years. I'm so happy people are responding well to it!
