# About me
Cosplay is what brought me to photography.More than ten years ago, back when digital cameras were an oddity, I started taking pictures of the costumes I saw, just because I wanted to show them to people who couldn't come.
Today, I'm one of the many photographers in the French cosplay circuit. I'm nothing special, but trying to do my own thing.
To me, cosplay is not about pretty faces and cute poses. Cosplay is about characters and portraying them.
The cosplayers I like to work with are not mere models. They're artists on their own, both costumers and performers. I don't ask them just to pose for me, we build images together. They bring their ideas, I bring my own, and our combined skills make the images come to life.
Without cosplayers, I simply wouldn't be a photographer.

Que ce soit dit : je me considère toujours comme une cosplayeuse qui s'est mise à la photo parce qu'elle était trop flemmarde pour coudre
Les photographes de cosplay que je préfère sont souvent eux-mêmes cosplayers, ou ex-cosplayers ; je pense que quand on a été de l'autre côté de l'objectif, on a une approche particulière, et un rapport au modèle différent. Ca transparaît dans le résultat final, avec des photos qui avant toute chose, donnent vie au personnage. C'est ce que j'aime faire, ce que j'aime voir aussi. Donc bienvenue à vous, c'est un très bon début ^^
