You are quite welcome. If I may ask would you give me your opinion on one of the sprites I have in my gallery? I always look for a chance to improve based off crits and all.

I was always told by a good friend that you should only ever cross one set of fingers, it's bad luck if you do it with both hands according to what he told me. But indeed fingers crossed on my right hand bud, I wish ya nothin' but the best.

Going through my archives, I was just looking at some fan art I did for you back over a decade ago. It's impressive you're still active on Deviant Art!

Indeed my friend, I can't believe it was that long ago either. Ten years and a lot of changes both good and bad but we still have a constant for me and that is DA. Never felt it was changing so much I needed a new platform like some.
Proud to of gotten to know you my friend and I still am happy with that old comic.

Thanks, man! No, I didn't leave DA for any reason like that. Just got married and a full-time job and simply don't have the same time I used to in order to invest in artwork and website management. I mostly focus on putting my webcomics up on my own domain names and Patreons. Or I did. Things are kind of in between right now. Difficult to find the time to produce new artwork. Thanks, btw! Glad you like that old comic!

I understand, as a old song goes "As you go through life you'll see there is so much that we don't understand, and the only thing we know is things don't always go the way we plan." Just got to keep the hope and strive for our wishes as best we can. It'll be tough some times but it is never impossible.
You are very welcome my friend, Plokman has changed a lot since then, no Omnitrix, no time machine, and he has a human Identity alongside his robot life (They are one in the same but Plokman is like Megaman X and Johny Five a robot that is truly alive. he just is seen as human by most when he isn't in his work/hero outfit) but this is one of the first times he was ever drawn. So it is special to me.

Nice! Is it an ongoing webcomic? Anyway, as I learned after transitioning out of my fan webcomics, probably best to change things up to make characters and their worlds more original in order to avoid copyright infringement in case we ever decide to print our stories. My SuperMilo character used to have a secret identity as a normal house cat. That actually sounds pretty cool, actually... But not the direction I went with the 2009 reboot. People kept telling me he was too much like Garfield, except sometimes he was a superhero. So I completely took out his alter ego for that reason and went 100% superhero. The original comic was titled, "Milo the Cat," and his superhero status evolved over the years. Yes, he wasn't SuperMilo from the beginning. Actually, I did the comic for maybe 3-5 years before I gave him super powers. It was really only a side thing that slowly developed the gag-a-day strip into having an actual plot. So I went all the way and dropped the Garfield-esque part of the series for the reboot.

I fully intend it to be my good friend, I want to build Plokman's Misadventures up till I can have it published. Honestly whatever money is made from the comic once we get started is going to be split 50-50 between me and my buddy Ian who is drawing it.
I have the plan of a over arching story starting with a Short Circuit like begining where Silas (Plokman is a robot but being one with a true soul and having been designed to be as close to humanity as a Robot without the divine spark could be he has a "human" identity and that is Silas even so far as in universe he has full human rights such as a Social Security Number and a birth certificate, his dad had the connections and all) and a main Antagonist but much of it is to be a adventure through life after certain things happen, and dimensional jumping thanks to a odd meeting.
SuperMilo sounds like he has certainly evolved, it's no good ending up just another Charles Shultz (Forgive my spelling) you got to make your comic stand out, above the crowd.... whoops almost went into a musical moment there. XD
But I was glad to hear back from you after so long my friend, I do hope my last message didn't sound odd when I talked about my faith. I have a simpler view on it to some but I have it in my signature and I like to keep it no matter what. Anyway I hope you and you're family stay happy and have great success in your future. As the Doc says "Make it a good one!"

You mean my namesake? I'll admit it's not for the average gamer, heck even hardcore Ah the era of Woosly translation and localization.gamers might be put off by Plok's learning curve but I always found it charming. It's a bit like Ristar in that regard, though that game has a larger place in my heart for the Sega Genesis with Plok being the same for the SNES. Funny thing Plok has a vulgar word in it that should have most possibly been censored for it's Nintendo era.
Then again Bass out right curses in MM7.

That game is a cartoon. (not an actual cartoon, the visual style of the game reminds me of one) I cant get past the second island.
Ristar is also a great game, thougb I didn't find the learning curve of tbat game too difficult., probably because everything is made to be interacted with your primary action of grabbing stuff with your stetchy arms.

Indeed it has a very cartoony look, funny how before cel shading we had games that captured the toon look so well, I also agree Ristar is much easier to jump into and Plok is not for beginners. Nope it is more suited to players who have decent skill in most other platformers. But the setting just pulls me in, the Poly Estah Archipelago and all it's odd citizens are great.
