S'pose that's the end of that then, still amazes me when one of those images makes it to the frontpage. Don't see anything particularly wrong with submitting it but the mass pageviews they get is mildly disturbing given some of the great things on the site.

Nothing wrong with sticking to your guns, I actually agree with your for the most part. I will say I don't think commenting was smart, you pretty much pulled out a large metaphorical stick and started poking him/her with it when you didn't really need to. The report alone would have been enough to have it removed if that's what DA's policy is. (Not something I keep track of so I wouldn't know)

Lots of people posted that they'd reported it and given reasons why, I wasn't the only one. I'm not afraid of a bunch of children ganging up on me because "BAAWWW U R BEING SO MEAN N UNFAIR," and I could care less if spectators say I was stupid for making a statement. Someone was going to say what I said, it was just a matter of time. And if that person can't get it through their head that yes, people will report that crap when they see it, then they really shouldn't have signed up for deviantART, let alone said "I Agree" to the TOS.

There's no problem with making a demotivational poster - the bad thing about it is that 98% of the people who make one didn't draw / photograph / somehow create the picture in it. Not only is it plagiarism, but it's not fair to people who ACTUALLY try to create a piece of art and any praise and helpful criticism they may have received on it has now been directed away to some two-bit poster that probably took 10 seconds to create.

No I'm replacing parts, never buying another crap ass pre-assembled pc again. Next on the list is 2gb of DDR400 RAM and maybe a new heatsink for the CPU so I can overclock it without having heat issues.

Oh snap! lol Well I have desktop where we used our tax saving money 2 years ago and built it up on the site from Dell. We run XP and it hasn't given us any issues it's got a really awesome RAM and 700GB memory I say, don't go to the stores go to the site and build it from the ground up. Dell has a special where if you customize your comp. they'll take $200 dollars off at check out . (well they did when I did it not sure right now lol)

I haven't done anything to load up, moved somewhat away from art and more towards computers.

Desktop, she's been a work in progress for years, started with a pre-assembled Compaq. So far I've replaced the CPU, MOBO, RAM, GPU(three times), PSU, Case, HDD, Optical and alot of the wiring. I'm using older components since I'm budget building, but these lil socket 939 chips can OC to 3+mghz if you get the right chip/ram and can properly cool em.

Yeah I find it pretty enjoyable, which is honestly somewhat surprising.

RAM is pretty easy, slap it in the slot and your ready to go, they won't fit in the wrong way haha. Now cpu heatsinks, *those* can fry a board if you screw up using a conductive thermal paste.

Currently working on something in MangaStudio, great sketch program, haven't tryed the new color part of it yet; Hopefully it's good, would save me a ton of program switching.
