Where would the clones be sent to afterwards?
Would the clones contribute to society years later down the road? And speaking of years....what would Gotham City look like after Superman and Batman, as well as their allies, successfully cleaned it up inside and out in more ways than just one?
Do you think Clark and Vicki might had ended up with a kid or two together after they eventually get hitched?
And finally, what would had happened to Metropolis throughout the years without a Superman there...and with Lex Luthor still owning the city despite Lois Lane and some other people's efforts to bring him to justice for all the crimes Lex had committed to get to the top like he did?

Perhaps they would. with some incentives. Gotham would likely look more like metropolis. Sure they could end up with kids. Metropolis would likely look the same but more corrupt and with less people due to deaths

One more thing I'll asked before closing the book on the AU here....do you think Lois Lane might take up the mantle of a hero or make her own heroic identity if she wanted to better defend and fight for Metropolis as a crime fighter rather than just a reporter (one who couldn't do just about anything to make things better given she has less resources and allies rallying behind her to effect change)?
π: 0 β©: 1
NoaEdlund In reply to Frostbite883 [2020-02-27 09:12:10 +0000 UTC]
i feel like someone else would show up in place of Superman, maybe a woman, maybe a man, maybe someone already existing, maybe someone new. Lois might get something to help her, a lantern ring, a magical girl type artifact, armor, an accident causing powers. but she does seem more of a reporter than a vigilante, so unless something like that happens, she'd probably just keep at it.

If Clark Kent lived in Gotham City rather than Metropolis and worked for the Gotham Gazette with Vicki Vale, how well of a reporter would Clark be for the Gazette?
Could he thrive, and more importantly survive, while living in Gotham?
What would his reactions be when he sooner or later knew about the mysterious Batman?
If Clark decided to become a super hero, made his own costume and made his heroic debut as Superman one morning as he prevents Riddler from robbing an experimental device belonging to Bruce Wayne's company, what would everyone's reactions be to seeing the Man of Steel for the first time? What would Bruce Wayne (Batman)'s thoughts on Superman be once he returns the device back inside his company?
Do you think Superman and Batman might come to make some sort of compromise in that Supes will only fight crime at daybreak while Bats take down criminals during sundown?
What happens if more often than not, Big Blue handled the super powered Gotham villains? How would the Man of Steel treat them in comparison to how Batman would otherwise?
And what if Dick Grayson's parents were saved from their fall by Superman (in a scenario where the Flying Graysons had their show before nightfall)?
To note: That new alternate universe scenario will occur during Batman's early years as a vigilante and with a version of Clark Kent, the soon-to-be-up-and-coming-hero-Superman, who never went to Metropolis, but made his stay at Gotham instead.

unfortunately, it's been established in a lot of 'universes' of the dc multiverse that Gotham has a lot of Lead buildings, and due to all the factories and such, the sky is usually covered in clouds and other forms of environmental pollution. this means that Supes would have a lot of troubles of being useful in gotham. there's not enough sun for him to be at his usual peak, and there's too much lead and all that, hindering him a lot.
Given that he still has the same parents and still is a Kent, he would definitely still be the same good person. he would mostly behave the same way as otherwise. He would still be the polar opposite of Batman, and bats would be bitter some times, but they would still likely be on fairly good terms. Supes could probably deal with killer croc and bane just fine, while bats deals with the night villains, yes, but there'd probably be more villains coming to gotham to try their luck with supes, so that would be unfortunate.
if the graysons were saved, then Supes and bats would likely team up to figure out why they were in danger in the first place and help deal with that. The graysons, including dick, would then move on with the circus. Dick would likely be very impressed with supes, but wouldn't do much with it other than making sure to always be the best person he could.
Superman would probably help find ways to deal with the pollution though, but how effective that would be is up for debate

If Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) debuted, how different would her and Batman's dynamic be since in that AU there is no Robin around?
How would her interactions be with Superman? Would they grow close as allies and friends or not?
π: 0 β©: 1
NoaEdlund In reply to Frostbite883 [2020-02-03 08:35:20 +0000 UTC]
Batman would be hesitant to accept her and would try to tell her to stay safe, but would eventually accept her just fine. Barbara getting involved would awaken batman's realization that sidekicks might be useful and good for his mental psyche and such, which would thus open his mind to the other kids that take on the role of robin.
Barbara and Superman would do just fine together. Barbara would probably see him as the fun, naive uncle, in contrast to Batman's gruff, tough serious but ultimately good ways. And if supergirl shows up, they'd definitely still be friends

Speaking of her, what happens if Kara Zor-El's space ship crash landed on Earth at the Gotham Bay early than how it otherwise would had in various DC canons? And what if Batman immediately knew about the crash, what cause it and decided on finding the ship in the ocean? Would the Dark Knight find the ship and see Kara inside it? Would he have his Bat Sub bring Kara's ship to the Batcave? Can the Bat Sub be able to?
Also, do you believe Clark Kent might fall for Vicki Vale over time if they became friends sooner or later? Or do you see Vicki always pining over Superman...who's also Clark himself, but it's something she doesn't know about?
Note: Those events'll happen during the second year of Batman and Superman's careers as crime fighters.

with superman's powers (especially his superhearing), he'd likely be on the scene a lot faster than batman would. but if he was busy elsewhere, then batman might've found her first. either way, superman would likely ask batman about it. batman would find a way to deal with the ship, that's for sure.
Clark Kent could fall for any person good enough, maybe even some less good people. Maybe, maybe not.

Now that I thought about it, how would Jim Gordon's relationship be with Superman given that the Man of Steel is more approachable, open about his feelings on issues and more truthful than Batman would be with him?
Do you think Superman might had been declared Gotham City's deputized vigilante/hero?
Would Superman tried to go after and book regular gangsters for their crimes? Would he be greatly disappointed once the mobsters walk out of the courthouse free and their charges dropped despite some evidence pointing to them committing numerous atrocities?
π: 0 β©: 1
NoaEdlund In reply to Frostbite883 [2020-02-06 21:38:21 +0000 UTC]
Jim would adapt. Superman don't want to be jury and exectutor, he wants to be there to help against things police aren't around for or can't do much about. he'd be happy to be thought highly of, but would try to make sure the police did their best and weren't corrupt.
He would be dissapointed, and would have to vent it to batman, they'd come to an understanding about their paths and such, and would work better together because of it

How would Batman and Kara Zor-El interactions go after her release?
Would Clark take Kara in or have her to live with Ma and Pan Kent?
What if she eventually decides on being a hero like her cousin after being inspired by his heroics? Would her cousin be okay with it and help train Kara in using her powers properly as a heroine?
And what happens if Batgirl came into the picture and meets Kara, or Supergirl if she wasn't prevented on being a hero because of Superman/Clark, while they both were going toe-to-toe with some out of town super villains?
π: 0 β©: 1
NoaEdlund In reply to Frostbite883 [2020-02-09 00:13:17 +0000 UTC]
batman would be stern but understanding, Kara would be a teenager.
He'd likely have her live with ma and pa, but that does depend on where they're living in this scenario. he could just as well 'adopt' her if the kents are in a position where it would be better for him to deal with her than for them to do it.
Supergirl and Batgirl are usually best of friends, they'd likely remain best of friends.

If Doomsday later on came to Earth and fought both Superman and Supergirl in Gotham, how much collateral damage could the three powerhouses cause to the city?
Do you see both heroes defeating Doomsday?
If they did, what would the two do afterwards?
If they didn't, what contingency plan/s will Batman use against the monster?
π: 0 β©: 1
NoaEdlund In reply to Frostbite883 [2020-02-11 01:58:26 +0000 UTC]
they'd probably be much more effective than just one of them. they'd be able to use tactics to prevent as much collateral damage as possible, but there'd still be a whole lot. afterwards they'd try to prevent him from coming back, like, by using the phantom zone projector or something. They would then make sure that anyone who got hurt during the fight were properly take care of to prevent deaths and such.
Batman would probably use a contingency plan of asking supergirl to go get the projector, or to ask for more heroes to show up (maybe flash or dr. fate could get the projector or maybe dr. fate and zatanna could use some magic?)

What happens if over the years the hybrids became interested, and later on, admire Ra's al Ghul's world view and methods once they understood where he was coming?
And how dedicated to Ra's cause'll the hybrids be the more they spend time with him? ...Also, how eerie would those hybrids be towards others in regards to their father's enemies?

Simply put, if Kal-El's rocket ship accidentally crash landed on a planet with a red sun and he was found by two entirely different people to be raised there during it's Stone Age, what type of person would Kal-El be throughout his life on that world?
And what kind of history might the Earth have without a Superman around as a part of it?
Note: The scenario here could happen in any DC universe.
π: 0 β©: 1
NoaEdlund In reply to Frostbite883 [2020-01-30 10:14:04 +0000 UTC]
Kal El is a by-product of his 'parents', so it all depends on who he ends up with as foster parents. he still has his biological parent's genes however, and thus will always have a strong conciousness that tends to make him aware of his issues eventually. kryptonian superpowers tend to make their brains into super computers, but without those powers, he'd probably just be a fairly normal person.
earth has plenty of other heroes, so superman not being there would simply mean that someone else would take his place eventually.

If Princess Diana still was on her island of Themyscira and no one outside of it came as the Steve Trevor in that scenario, while on a top secret mission, had died during a plane crash by enemy fire far from the island, what would Diana do throughout her time there now that she'd not have met Steve?
How much peace would the amazons enjoy before eventually something goes badly for them?

If a young Bruce Wayne couldn't go to the theater and he was told that it burned down by some pyromaniac, by either Alfred or one of his parents, how different could Bruce's life be going forward on that day? A day in which he would've otherwise witness his parents' deaths in an alley?
Could Bruce lived a happy life since that his parents aren't dead, he doesn't have to train day-in and day-out until his body gives out and he won't go to war against crime nearly every day?
And how would Gotham, and the world, cope without a Dark Knight Detective from the shadows?
π: 0 β©: 1
NoaEdlund In reply to Frostbite883 [2020-02-03 08:30:28 +0000 UTC]
given that the Waynes are usually depicted as actually good people, i think they would have started working on making life better for those in need. they would have payed the taxes the other elites wouldn't, they would have worked against the pollution and other stuff that's obviously bad, and since Bruce isn't spending decades going around the world, the effect would be observable a lot sooner. This is of course not taking into account that someone else might've took it upon him/herself to try and be a hero. Bruce could live happily, and he could be proud and inspired by his parents to do equally good deeds.
unfortunately, Gotham is very shady and full of mafias and such, so the risk of the Waynes being challenged anyway would still unfortunately be a thing, and all the villains who had nothing to do with batman (poison ivy, killer croc, mad hatter at least in the DCAU)would probably still show up and try to do their plans.
However, with all the good the waynes would have done, the chance of other heroes being more useful would rise, so there's that.

If Abin Sur was still alive and guarding the Milky Way Galaxy as Sector 2814's Green Lantern while Hal Jordan was still living the life of a regular pilot, do you see Abin handling any threats on Earth well or better than Hal would had done?
Whenever Sinestro thinks about going the extremist route in maintaining peace and order, but thinks on how Abin would go down the right path and never drift off it, how different of a person will the Green Lantern be if he kept on thinking on the type of man his friend is which in turn ignites his sense of justice and prevent himself from straying away from the kind of man he is to one that sinks down to his enemies' level?
