# About me
I've watched the Lion King so many times that I could recite every line except for a few song verses perfectly. I love drawing as a hobby, and I'm not sure if I should try to make a living out of it, but I guess it could be a my backup plan. ^^ All favorites and comments are super appreciated! My little cousin:

I guess fine considering the current situation. The ponies ended their series on a really bad note, the gems did a little better than them though, it could have been better indeed; the future looks quite bitter for this whole website, the Eclipse is going to become mandatory in a couple of weeks and many users are already considering leaving for good, the new staff is clueless about how to handle this whole virtual museum of sorts; you know something is beyond bad when those behind promote it by making it mandatory, so people have no choice but to get it even though it is flawed in several ways. Then we also have to deal with this cursed virus that is already consuming humanity at every chance it gets, things look quite bad at every turn too.

Regarding the ponies, things were already going down the toilet as more and more pointless plots were used during the last seasons and even recycled to make things even longer; the mane six became really annoying and silly, all the lessons from the past became meaningless when they actually mattered, Twilight in particular became the worst and it was painful to even see her on the screen for a couple of minutes, messing up things big time but still regarded as the best character and future princess of Equestria, sorry but I am not buying anything from her or the rest of the girls; the final battle felt rushed and the so called grand finale felt lame in many ways, bad writing at its worst; Spike got nowhere with Rarity and their last episode together shower her for what she truly is: a selfish mare who has more neurons in her butt than in all her brain, generosity my freaking behind, do pardon my French but things got so bad that it made me regret watching the show in the first place; it got that bad indeed. Regarding the gems and Steven for that matter, things started to show bad symptoms as soon as the final season was officially regarded as an epilogue and not an actual season, this so called epilogue was simply not enough to properly conclude all plots and many things were left behind as eternal enigmas, the final battle also felt rushed but at least it had a better writing, I seriously do not want to talk trash about Rebecca and her cryptic thoughts, but I honestly expected a lot better from the same woman who thinks that crying is funny, I guess she must be laughing like mad after this ended; this was a good example of how a good show can die in one season or less because of bad and rushed writing, they did a better job than the ponies but still; it reminds me of the third entry in the Kingdom Hearts series, over a freaking decade waiting for it and it left me with bittersweet thoughts to say the least. Regarding my health, thanks for asking, I am fine since I really do not mind staying at home, going outside sounds like suicide at the moment, like a nameless fear that owns the streets, I do hope things get better in the following weeks.

One of the few good episodes I can remember is the one where the crusaders became mares thanks to a magic flower, but they had to ruin it by making Twilight scold them and give them a forced lecture about adults being always right no matter what indeed, it sounded terrible and ruined the whole idea behind their mess; if anything, this whole episode provided the opposite moral by showing the mane six as idiots who had not learnt anything despite being older than the crusaders, such a nice concept that went down the toilet because of a forced moral; in fact, pretty much anything in these last seasons felt like that indeed, forced from start to finish. The gems came close but were able to pull a better job, Steven being the final boss of his own show was quite unexpected as always, he simply had enough of doing his best and finding not even a little peace in the smallest of acts; right from the start, you have a bad feeling from the whole epilogue and little by little it became a terrible nightmare, from being rejected by Connie to realizing his parents are so much alike because both hated being responsible for their actions, Steven had enough and became the monster he claimed to be, that one scene was shocking in all ways, like one massive atomic bomb exploding from all the darkness it had gathered throughout its existence, he was done helping others.

On the other hand, one of the worst episodes I can recall, there are way too many actually, is the one when Twilight entered a random contest and Pinkie became her partner, which ruined her whole chances of winning since Pinkie kept messing pretty much everything to the point of driving Twilight insane; the situation became so critical that Twilight made her break a rule on purpose so Pinkie could get kicked out of the contest and leave her alone, not to mention that Twilight kept abusing the rule system to always have the upper hoof, that was one of her most annoying segments ever, then they solved everything at the very end came up with another forced and pointless moral to wrap things up; and this idiot is supposed to be princess of both friendship and magic? Talk about killing two birds with one stone or two concept with one toxic mare too. Speaking of Connie, ignoring how she rejected Steven for not being ready to actually marry someone, there was something that ruined her whole persona a long time ago and I found it to be quite ironic; remember when Aquamarine attacked them and Steven agreed to surrender himself to homeworld so that the rest could go free and unharmed? When Steven finally came back and had a lot to process of obvious reasons, Connie was angry at him and left with Lion for the whole special, leaving him with mixed thoughts and adding one more problem to his already long list of threats, we had to wait until the last episode of that special to finally hear the reasons behind her harsh attitude towards Steven: she was angry because he gave up too easy and forgot about them in the process; what the actual fudge Connie? Are you mental or something? This is the kind of stuff that I would expect from Pearl several seasons ago, back when she wanted to pretty much sacrifice herself and ignore the possible consequences of said sacrifice, like no one was going to miss her or something alike for example; but hearing more or the less the very same complaint from Connie was beyond unexpected, I can honestly admit that I started looking at her in a very different way after this little story arc ended. Truth to be told, I can understand her being worried about possibly losing him for good, but acting like that and even making him look like a villain of sorts was not only naive, it was quite selfish too; this is a common trope in most shows in general and I personally dislike it: the main character is the only one who is not allowed mess up, it is totally fine if someone else messes things up big time, but not the other way around; the worst part is that Steven did exactly the right thing and saved everyone in the process, a different tactic would have proven to be disastrous, this was the right and pretty much the only possible approach and she did not like it; she was expecting a lot from Steven? I was expecting a lot more from her, stuff like this only fed the monster more and more, Steven showed more understanding than he should have though; I can not help but to think that the monster was also a way of him saying how tired he was of not getting the results he wanted despite doing his very best, so he gave up trying to be nice and sweet and became the one thing that would give him instant results, none of your actions matter if the world already regards you as a monster, no one can complain either.

Her attitude is what made me question her whole persona, I can understand her but only up to a certain degree, but got on my nerves is the trope I mentioned before; it reminds me of what Isaac Clarke from the Dead Space series wondered when he asked which scenario was the worst, dying with everyone else or being the only one who survives, the gems seem to fit the second option, Steven did exactly what they would have done and making him feel like trash because he had the guts to do so is what ruined it for me, this is a paradox that contradicts itself no matter how hard you try to justify it; sometimes no one wants to make the first move, other times everyone wants to do it so they do not have to deal with what could happen afterwards indeed; as I have said before, they were mad because he dared to make the first move and being left behind to deal with the mental consequences is something no one likes doing, it sounds a little coward too when you think about it.

Ironically, he did the exact opposite of what characters on the show did, he took full responsibility on his actions and those that did not have that much to do with him; it came as a shocking fact when we found how irresponsible both of his parents were and since birds of the same feather flock together, it was no surprise to discover at last why Greg and Rose liked each other so much; there is a huge difference between following your dreams and just being careless or selfish for that matter indeed. I expected better from the ponies and even more from the gems, they came really close to ruining the whole show.

As obvious as it sounds, being a parent is not an easy thing, your own ignorance or incompetence for that matter can easily ruin a life even before it has barely started to blossom; true, it is quite easy indeed when you give two farts about it and just pretend that everything is fine and justify all your mistakes through really dumb excuses, some parents even think others can do everything for them while they do nothing at all about their kids, a common textbook about said topics can actually provide some insight regarding certain matters though, but a lot of responsibility falls on the shoulders of the parents, not everyone can be one and it takes a lot of courage to admit it indeed; think it twince and then it a little more before crossing the line and taking this next step in your life, have the guts to be honest or the consequences will be fatal to say the least. Extending any show more than it should already sounds like big trouble, I have heard people say that we should remember how things were before and forget about the new stuff, that makes things worse in my case because it reminds of how little by little everything was ruined by Hasbro and its bottomless thirst for money from the fans; there was even one episode where Twilight decided to publish the journal of friendships so others could learn from their adventures and love it from start to finish, needles to say but nothing went as planned for obvious reasons; random ponies took advantage of Applejack and got a lot stuff from her by stating that they are part of her family, Fluttershy got bullied for having written the same lesson many times and never really being assertive afterwards, everyone laughed at Pinkie and none took her seriously for thinking that everything she said was just another joke of sorts, Rainbow could not get one second alone because everyone wanted to be with her given how cool she claimed to be, Rarity got one of the worst treatments ever when a couple of ponies said aloud that she should not even be a member of the gang because of how terrible her character was; as for Twilight herself, ponies found her so called great lessons so freaking boring and useless in general terms that they literally torn them apart from the journal itself, I guess they could save them for later when they run out of toilet paper; Twilight then gave some random speech about how they were not random characters from a novel and that life itself was far more complex than that indeed, basically killing her own goals and stating the obvious once again, I liked when one of the random ponies interrupted her amazing speech, it sucked major rear.

I have recently watched an interview Larson gave about that episode in particular, he wanted to provide a better story like the ones Lauren wrote when she still worked with them; however, Hasbro did not like that and ordered a new story where this happened. In all honesty, I could easily switch all the blame on Hasbro, but the mane six are no angels aither, things in general were already showing terrible symptoms back then and we reached a point where nothing they said mattered not even a little anymore, I liked when the ponies did not fall for Twilight and her random song; I am so glad Sunset left Celestia and her questionable lessons behind and left Equestria for a better future in the human world, that allowed her to actually develop her own character and prevented her from being like Twilight, that would have been a major disaster. Even though some took this whole episode as a personal attack from Hasbro to a portion of the fandom, I honestly think you should not feel bad if you felt identified with some of the random ponies who criticized the mane six, this episode actually made them think and realize the obvious; friendship is a feeling and feelings in general are beyond complex, you can not just release a random journal and treat it like a bible of sorts and then expect everyone to follow the same path; you would think the mane six woudl have learned a thing or two by the end of this episode, right? Not even close, they performed an empty song to fill the void and kept being the same until the end; Hasbro actually expected us to swallow everything they make and they kept milking the series until it became fully hollow, Twilight became a princess because Celestia wanted her to, I am freaking glad Sunset left them and became a better character in all ways, probably the best one in the human world at least.

As for me, I'm not leaving since I've come so far here, so like I said, I'm prepared to accept change.

I don't really know. But, I'm still going to use the old format for as long as it lasts. Plus, I'll be taking part in the 3 day strike, so I'll be somewhat inactive for the next 3 days. I'm prepared for change, but at the same time, I love the same old deviantart. So, I'm giving the strike a shot.
And thanks! If you want, you can still check out my gallery. If you've noticed, I've transitioned to digital and got some new interests.
