 Shojo: Ouran High school Host club. (Havent seen many shojos so.....) 

 Shounen: LOVE  Fullmetal alchemsist Brotherhood. (Next in that line is Naruto/Shippuden)

those would probably be my all time absolute faves but I like a lot of other stuff as well including (of the ones you mentioned) AoT and Hetalia. Not the biggest fan of Free but I love 50% off and I do watch the episodes of free before the episodes of 50% off. I'm also kind of obsessed with Homestuck

I really don't think its possible to like homestuck without being obsessed XD 
yeah its dark but it's really good and it's only emotionally scaring, there's really not a lot of violence and nothing sexual because they're all in middle school. But it's really a make you cry sort of anime so watch with tissues! It's 12 episodes and the first ones aren't good until you've watched all of them, then you love the first ones! But the last two will blow your mind. I recommend this particular emotional trauma

Yes! Ive sold my soul to Hussie! Thanks for liking my stuff Im trying to put off writing too many reader inserts for Homestuck until I finish it, Im working on it and I read three acts this summer, Ive been really busy though. I hate how real life gets in the way of fun things... XD But yeah Im at the beginning of act 6 so yeah, try not to present any casual spoilers XD

For writing go to the submit option at the top of the screen and when the menu shows up, click submit art. It should take you to the art submission page. Then in the box where you can upload things there is an option called edit text or something along those lines, click it. It should open a text box for you to either copy paste or write directly into. When you're done click the submit button in the text box at the bottom. Then the rest is pretty straight forward. If you want to know how to do fancy things with the text like bold something or italicize something or slash through something, let me know. and I'm happy to be your friend anything you need.
