You seem to have a lot of tasks to do. especially when there are ongoing events on groups, with all the questions from members, writing and preparing for events, managing things and stuff.

LONG POST AHEAD, td lr; You're a pretty big inspiration, I've realized this just recently.
About a year or two ago when you hosted Dust To Dust, (I read the group journals and was immediately captivated by the story) one of your members submitted characters and participated in the group. Later that same person would start their own roleplay group when DTD finished using those characters as a base, and that group was called Inselden. The story is not in the same universe as DTD, this is a different story; the setting is based on a civilization which exists on floating islands, not a barren wasteland. However the story (in its current state at least, more later on that point) shares similar themes: Steampunk setting, perilous adventures and environment, danger beyond the borders of a central city, a valuable miracle mineral and an omnipotent yet imperfect government.
The point of the story is two factions with competing ideologies: The Sky Charters, who wish to break away from the rule of the central dictatorship and explore the world on their own, and the Militia, who believe that the faith of the people should be placed in the dictator. As they explore the unknown territory outside of their city they must face dangers that are unknown to them, either on their own or together if they so choose.
I am a huge fan of this world. It is both epically fantastical and open to a lot of interpretation, yet grounded in the way it presents itself, leaving room for that fantasy while also remembering to stay realistic... at least the way I see it. The story started a year ago and has been stagnant ever since Act 1 chapter 1. If I remember correctly there was supposed to be a reworking of the story, but the original creator is too busy with her own art and university.
So about that previous set of brackets: I've been trying to rework the story on my own, weaving details from what was originally published in the group with what I think makes most sense. So far my biggest challenges are procrastination and endurance... and uncertainty, time management- etc.
Again, I love this world- it's stood the test of time and has lasted in my memory ever since I was first introduced to it. I have you in part to thank for that since you provided a platform for the characters that were created that would be used later in this story: Edith McGuire and Phillip McArthur. (Just to be specific they're not mine, they're someone else's.) I'm going to try my best to reboot the story so that the group can flourish as it was meant to: I don't know if my plan will work, but I'll try anyway. I figured I'd drop by and leave some credit where it was due. Considering the amount of people you attract to the groups you create, I'm probably not the only person who can attribute their inspiration to. So thanks again for enabling and encouraging people to find their creative voice, the effort it takes to do this kind of thing is unreal.

It's been a million years since you left this wonderful comment, but I just want to let you know -- a standalone prequel group to D2D is opening, called The Atoll State! It's set in the same world, but on a different continent, 300 years prior. If you enjoyed D2D, I think this would be really up your alley. Check it out!
