Tips:

Don't stop learning/creating/designing/etc.
Design is an ever-growing and continuing process and will always be around you. Draw from everyday objects and gain from the inspiration that constantly surrounds you. The world is full of imagery waiting to be interpreted in fun and unique ways, especially through typography.

There are no wrong answers
If you make a mistake, go with it! There things such as "happy accidents" that can potentially grow into amazing ideas!

Research
Always research different designers/illustrators/artists/etc and see what solutions they have come up in the past! Develop a style of your own and go with it!

Hope some of these tips help, as they got me to the point I am at now! :) (Smile)
