I came here after seeing your photograph in the Daily Deviations (congratulations, by the way). After viewing your entire gallery, I can safely say it is one of the most impressive I've ever seen. You have a command of color and composition that I long to have. Pieces like "Fire Fox" and "Coulrophobia" really stood out to me. Really wonderful work. I hope to see more in the future!

Sorry to bother you, but I have a question for you...
I've seen that you have tried both Sony R1 and Canon 40D cameras.
I have used a Sony R1 for almost 3 years now, but I would like to change now, to buy a more sensitive and responsive camera. I am very interested in the Canon 40D, do you think it really worth changing ?

I went from R1 to 40D and didn't regret it for a second. R1 was surely a great camera but it's not a DSLR. 40D is much faster and much better in low light where R1 struggled.
As with every DSLR remember to put much thought to the lens as it's a vital part of the system and sadly many seem to forget this.

It seems hard to find a first hand 40D nowadays, so I'll have a look at the 50D.
Indeed, I know it's very important to chose a good lens too. I'm interested with the Canon 15-85 according to my budget.
