Haha, it's partly my fault though, since I sort of randomly chose "muttersprache" as my Tumblr name. It was the best I could think of (it came from this song I was listening to at that time), and it's probably still the best name I can think of, sadly.

Ah yes, Mucha. ♥ I admire his sketches, paintings, and prints. While he remains an inspiration to me, it is much more than just his art that is interesting. He has a wonderful life story and I love seeing the art inspired by Mucha that people produce.
Some day, I plan to pay a homage to Alphonse Mucha, but I have yet to find a time when I felt was right.

It can't be that good. My pencil studies aren't as accurate as I really like them to be, I tend to circumvent around this with an okayish knowledge of anatomy. Also, I find it difficult to get the dark tones with a pencil, whereas your pencil studies have a better range of tone than mine.

I'm quite an amateur when it comes to figurative painting. My ink paintings, on the other hand, are my favourites since they're atmospheric.
I should branch out into colour sometime, but it's not as easy as I thought.

I'm not influenced.I just admire everyone in own way.Everyone was/is different.
I love for example Frida Kahlo because she was a real woman who lived passion.Her art is so feminine and subtly.I love the way she expressed herself.
I also love Helmut Newton because his photography was very controversial and also modern.I'm impressed by the way he broke the taboo of sexual refernces.
I love many artists.I also find many tallented artists here...It's amazing.

My influences are sadly too vast (hence, the delayed reply) for me to keep track of. Along with art; music , philosophy, literature, and film have an influence on my ideas and style (especially music). Teh best thing I can really do is give a list:
Artists: Francisco de Goya, John Virtue, Ayami Kojima, Alphonse Mucha, Caspar David Friedrich, and M.C. Escher.
Music: (far too many list)
Philosophy: Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Wittgenstein, and Kant.
Literature: Dostoevsky, Gogol, and Kafka.
Film: Wong Kar-Wai, Christopher Doyle, and David Lynch.
So yeah, I'm sorry for the delayed reply. My mind was in circles figuring out a reply before I chose to do a simple list.

Thanks, I had a few ideas for the next few strips, but that was a few months ago and I think I forgot some of them. Also, there's homework and other stuff in my way right now, so it's going to take some time before any new strips are made.
As for tutorials, I tend to stay away from them and create my own style from anything I like. For webcomics, I'm influeneced by ~burtonearny 's Three-Pea-Suite, Nicholas Gurewitch's Perry Bible Fellowship, and a number of others.
