I didn't remove you lol, at least I don't think so- i don't even know what that means. Haha I am surprised you remember me. I tried to message you on fb before to see how you've been but i didn't hear anything from ya. Where a bouts are you at now. How's life treating you. I am doing alright. This was a long long winter here in New England so it was pretty rough but now that its actually sunny and warm out i can get outside and I feel so much better.

Yea i understand that. When i was 17 i was working in pencil and spray mostly, mastered pencil around 21 then moved to airbrush for a different challenge, haven't did a piece of art in pencil in 7 years or so. Now all i do is paint , i look back at my old work and im embarrassed by it. Even alot of the paintings in my gallery from the last 5 years i am embarrassed about. But its always nice to look back and see how much you have improved. I see alot of pencil in your gallery, how long have you been at it ? Is drawing something you do for fun or is it something that you MUST do ? I guess that feeling is hard to explain. For me if i dont draw or paint, i get this anxious feeling, like something is missing inside me, and that feeling drives me to draw and paint. So even if i wanted to never paint or draw again, i would prolly just kill over from depression Maybe im just all fucked up in the head !! Sorry ....

I'm a spray paint/acrylics artist and I love your work. I'm 21 now and I really want to get into airbrushing because of how smooth it is. Have you always felt a need to always draw or paint? I find I dont have that urge so much. Sometimes i find drawing and painting kind of frustrating because it is so much hard work and concentration to make it just perfect. Maybe I just push myself way too hard.

Yea since i was 12 when i discovered i had some talent to draw, after that it was a onslaught of art. I understand where your coming from Cypher, everyone goes through this at first until you get warmed up in the medium your in. Then everything comes natural, techniques seem easier, and you dont worry so much about screwing up. But this usually comes after a couple years of practice. What still bugs me is really long projects - 40 hours + like what im working on now. But if you want to get into airbrushing make sure your ready !! Its very costly , takes a TON of time to get good brush control and its something ive seen 9 out of 10 people drop after a couple months. The reason being the difficulty of it all. Some have accused me of keeping secrets about techniques or i lie to them cause they cant do what i can do, they even go buy the same airbrushes i use paint ect... But the truth is people want everything now, they dont want to work for it. And thats not a good attitude when it comes to art/airbrushing/painting/drawing. everything takes practice, people need to put more thought into what they want from art, then go that direction. Never be envious of anyone to the point you must do what they do. Look inside yourself and make the decision what best fits you, then do that. You will find you will be successful. I was a ok artist with spray paint, but a better artist with airbrush, so now i know what best fits me, and i go that direction.

wow, thanks so much for the fantastic reply! This is such good advice for me.
you must be right about the new medium thing, because i'm definitely new to acrylic. I've only done about 4 or 5 acrylic paintings and im already working on a piece that is easily 100+ hours. I think i'll tone it down after this one, I'm kind of pushing myself too hard with a medium I'm new with.
I've wanted to airbrush for a long time but i've been avoiding it because of what you said. I think one day I will get into it though.

well I can understand you ! but please be everything but NOT embarrassed !! sorry but R u crazy ! BE NEVER EMBARRES OF YOUR ART !! say never that again -.- you art is you art !! accept that !... and you can be very proud of you..trust me...you have a gift..and use it..
well I LOVE DRAWING SINCE CHILDHOOD ! I love it since kindergarden haha my parents always told me that I everytime did something with art or fantasy...I love it...I can't without....I would die without....my art is everything for me..it means a lot for me...you know..if I am sad I draw..If a am angry...I draw...If i'm happy I draw....In my gallery u can't see verything from my art...i am 14 years old...and yes I draw often with pencil...the I tried with ballpoints..I really like it.. dean winchester was my first ballpint Portrait I did it in 3 h so...I want that you know...that art is something special and we got the present from god so use it and be prud...feel free and draw so much as you can..everytime I draw when i have the time for...you know..I have school and little sisters and brothers...so I often have to put my time for drawing...well thats all sorry that I wrote so much

Your a real artist Maria !! Feeling and emotion is everything in art. Its what drives me in many of ways as well. Please dont worry about long messages , i dont care at all.
