Ugh yes I can imagine I'm sorry about the Wings. They could still make it into the playoffs though right? And then sometimes u just never know what'll happen! The Kings proved that last year =_=

Well if the Pens can't get it done with those moves there's a problem. I'm looking forward to seeing a few more games against them next season when the Wings move to the East (where they've belonged for years). The Wings are still in the mix but I think we're going to have to win out to get in. Not impossible but not incredibly likely with the way the season has gone. Even if we do make it, I have a hard time believing we'll take down Chicago, especially without Helm and Bertuzzi in the lineup. Losing those guys are a big reason why we've played so poorly. I'm surprised you're a Pens fan since your profile says you're from Canada. Did you grow up a Pens fan or were they a recent adoption?

Yeah you'd be right about that! And me too, its going to be really exciting having the Wings in the same conference as the Pens! I've always thought their rivalry was really great, more skillful and not so hateful like the Flyer vs Pen's rivalry.

Haha yes, I actually became a Penguin's fan when they played the 2007-08 playoffs against the Wings! I was a new hockey fan at the time and where I lived, everyone was calling the Pens the young underdogs xD Even tho the Wings won that season of course, I just loved the Pens since then
Before that, I had a quick stint of being a Canadiens fan since my brother and Dad were cheering for them.

I don't know, I think that rivalry could get pretty vicious, especially since a lot of the same guys are still on the team from those two Cup runs. It will be fun to watch. I still can't believe the Wings blew that series in '09. It was painful for me to watch lol. Well, with any luck we'll see each other in the Finals again this year.

Wah I'm just talking about those two series, 08 and 09, with another Wings fan (naszoo). It would have been pretty big if the Wings won both series... I've got to say that I'm glad the Pens did win tho! x3

Thanks! Just put in the bid yesterday...may find out Tuesday if it was accepted or not. I've been in the market for 5 months, so hopefully this'll turn out alright.

It WAS!

Now comes the scary parts...the financing. It also appears to need a new roof, but I'm hoping that's a few years out yet. I have a meeting with the finance people tomorrow after work, so hopefully everything will work out alright.

Well, considering that we were kind of waiting for the right house, 5 months isn't that bad.
