I saw a comment you did about the false pride of Americans. I'm American, and I saw this as an opportunity to tell you something. American's are arrogant and prideful and stupid. But we're proud of those things. We're also extremely brave and caring. We stand up for what we believe in and will fight to the very last breath to prove a point. What you watch, read, and hear about in the news about us isn't always true. We're stupid, greedy, and arrogant. But we're good people. Just wanted to share that with you. C: Feel free to comment back, as I meant no harm or ill will with this.

uhhhh yes...i live in the U.S. don't have to go far to know we're proud of not knowing anything...I'm also a teacher who helps drop out students DO care about what they missed out on. It wasn't til after high school that it hit me; it's not always good to be proud of your shortcomings. Confidence and pride are two different things. Without confidence, one cannot move, without pride, humility can move you towards knowledge. What you really need is humility before knowledge, not pride for ignorance. The news plays an important roll in shaping up many of our view, luckily, it never influenced mine to think Islam was wrong. Islam is the source of humility before all worlds of knowledge, don't miss out on it.

Why is the world going towards more destruction, oppression, and aggression If all these Muslims are rotating around God so much? Why haven't they over powered the evil int he world and aren't in charge?
Because the heart of Islam is missing my friend. Are we making God central in our lives? or are we rotating around stones on an exotic tour?
Just looking at that from above it screams: "God must be central in your lives, you must make every choice with him in mind."
