Awesome!! So odd we have a lot in common. Yeah i've been watching this artists since i joined DA. I seriously don't know what I would be doing without this site. Or the internet period actually.

I've had my ups and downs with dA, but it has allowed me to see a huge amount of work, and it's awesome talking to some of the people. I'm really working on getting my work out there more, so we'll see!

Your style is super cool. Not a lot of it out there from what i've seen, but it is a growing market. Specially in streetwear. Really hope to commission you soon. I have several ideas i just can't make them look cool.

Thank you so much! I've sort of engineered it to be a hybrid style, since I grew up on both Western and Eastern comics and manga, and there are things I love about them both. It's a bit frustrating when people don't understand it because they've never seen it before. Like if it doesn't look like Marvel or DC it's automatically "Anime." Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I don't consider what my style has currently evolved into to be anime at all. There's influences, but there are also western (i.e. American Comic) influences as well. I just tell people it's an original style lol.

YOUR WELCOME! I totally agree. It's ignorance really. No one really wants to take the time to learn the difference. That's my goal in terms of illustrating tho, a hybrid.

It is ignorance, but it's almost not even the public's fault. They only know what they are shown, and anything new or different has to be labeled.
Don't force your style, just let it evolve naturally through practice and trial and error. You'll get there!!
