Doing alright. I'm back to work, after a pretty leisurely summer, driving a school bus. I haven't pursued much business as a hired wrist, but I'm headed to Rose City Comic Con this weekend. Any chance you'll be there?

The event was smaller than Emerald City, but seemed better managed. Lots of fun all around. It went really well. I sat in on some good panel discussions. Meet some really friendly, talented artists. I showed my portfolio around and got good, solid feedback.

I spoke with an editor from Marvel. He expressed interest and we exchanged cards. He said to contact him and he'd send me some sample scripts to pencil. I don't know if that's just standard politeness on his part, but I'd like to think its a small step in the right direction for me. We'll see.
