It's a stylistic choice ^^. Basically, I added prominent lashes to the deer species that have open areas as their preferred habitat (huemul and red deer); while the ones that inhabit the denser bushes (pudus) don't have them. This is, because the ones that inhabit the open will need more eye protection (wind, intense light, temperature extremes and dust).
