Favourite style of art: digital painted fanart

I paint for fun, and I like fanart. I have a weakness of Alternate Universes, Historical costumes, portraits and bright colours.
I'm very slowly trying to improve my painting - particularly lightning, anatomy and use of colour.

There were a couple of challenges lately where I really had fun with colour (both trying some restrained shades and having an opportunity to go wild)
