This is nice, but I strongly suggest using a writing website for writing, since DA seems to favor pictures. I've long ago decided to stop posting writing here and moved to a writing website: [link] where I've became quite popular. Yes the hits are kind of low for the amount followers, but I had some massively popular stories which were taken down.

well.. here is where im at with it. i went real sloppy and skettchy with both color and pencils. (this can be changed completly) it didnt take a crazy amount of time...this is pretty basic. but i kept it simple because thats what ya wanted.....any changes let me know. if u hate it..let me know...i also made it big enough so that if u wanted to crop it u can just put his face in there if not u can use his whole bust. let me know and dont be shy thats what im here for ^_^ have a good day

Yeah, I would prefer if it was a lot cleaner looking, also a zoom real close on the face (no need for excess on the sides) Don't really need to show the neck. also would you be able to add the title/my name somewhere on it (since it's supposed to be a book cover) - make it look like a book cover

Yeah I'd rather it look fairly clean. Though I normally do actually like the lines in art, it wasn't quite the appearance I was looking for with this particular piece, I was thinking of the really "clinical hospital" clean, you know the very pale "perfect all one shade" skin, whitewashed plastic wall (sci-fi style)..
