I have watched and supported the artist Natalie Shau for years, long before she was internet popular.  Yesterday, I posted a comment on a piece for which "the artist wants critique".

My comment said that certain parts in the body of the subject felt "detached" from one another, yet I wondered if it was intentional.  I also praised the artwork for being intriguing and beautiful, and all-over wonderful.  Natalie Shau commented to me "totally not", deleted my comment, and blocked me -- I can no longer comment to her art pieces or correspond to her in any manner.

Is this the state of artists nowadays, that they can only accept positive criticism and praise?  As a long-term supporter of her works, I am disgusted and dismayed, and I will be removing her artwork from my list of intended purchases.  Sorry, but I only support genuine artists, not prancing fakes who remove any sign of adversity.
